I would give you a lap dance for a $100 or you could give me $150 and I won't give you one.

I beg to differ about RLStars comment about River Lakes West hockey being the least expensive in the state at Eveleth we pay only:
Mini-Mites $50.00
Mites $60.00
Squirts $100.00
Pee Wee $100.00
Bantam $100.00
With no ice time fees, volunteer fees, coupon books to buy and then sell.
I guarantee you that this the best deal in the state.

Are you frickin kidding me! Next time RL beats a Buffalo team it should make the Bison faithful feel good knowing that they are paying 10x more for their kid to play the sport and be developed by Association's Hockey Development board. Don't get me wrong...no one is a bigger advocate for the kids in Buffalo playing hockey...however, it's the costs Associated with playing the sport in Bison Country that have skyrocketed and given many something to debate about.RLStars wrote:Zero dollars for ice bill. There is NO ice bill. The registration cost is what you pay for the season. Usually includes a home and away tournament. Lowest cost hockey in the state
Here's good one for yah and even a better deal if you can get it...I do not know if this is true but I tend to believe everything I hear...
It has been suggested to me that certain parents within the Buffalo Association...many of the same parents (band of brothers) who voted to have EVERYONE pay for development are indeed running the training and paying themselves for doing it! Now if this is true then their kid plays hockey in Buffalo for essentially the hours they work 'volunteering' for the good of the Association. If true, then having these people prance around like they own the place is comical. There is not a doubt that many many people do alot of good...my problem is and has always been that many do it in my opinion for the wrong reasons...
Guess no one is doing something for a kid for nothing anymore...it speaks volumes about the state of hockey in the State of Hockey. Want your kid to be a good hockey player...better make six figures and wear a life perserver because once you take the dive in the Hockey Sharks will swarm and bite yah wear it hurts on the way up.

So will the Buffalo Assn. be looking for a Bail Out too? Sounds like how the financial firms played the systemExecutionTrumpsStrategy wrote:Hold your money...but...it sounds like we have a BINGO!HOFam'r wrote: It has been suggested to me that certain parents within the Buffalo Association...many of the same parents (band of brothers) who voted to have EVERYONE pay for development are indeed running the training and paying themselves for doing it! To help discover the truth I will offer my consulting services and give you advice on the proper clean up procedure. Of course that is an additional fee done by another firm that I direct and control. However you can't get one service without agreeing to both

Any takers - of course I need 50% up front and I want 15% of the dollars of waste and corruption I discover. Of course all expenses must be paid. I can fly in from Chaska at your convenience.

Honestly, I hope I am wrong. However, I doubt that I am. I personally know some of the people doing this and they truly believe they are on the right side of the coin. Then there are people who do things because they love hockey and kids...those people normally get frustrated and quit because they are given tasks that are all work and no opinion.ExecutionTrumpsStrategy wrote:Hold your money...but...it sounds like we have a BINGO!HOFam'r wrote: It has been suggested to me that certain parents within the Buffalo Association...many of the same parents (band of brothers) who voted to have EVERYONE pay for development are indeed running the training and paying themselves for doing it! Buffalo Hockey has been at a minimum mismanaged and because of theft,(could be 6 figures) accounting mistakes (DEFINATELY 6 FIGURES)and forced training (the possibility of lining each others pockets) the Association Numbers have suffered severely. The same people who believe that without them Buffalo hockey would not exist are some of the same who have run the Association into the ground. Buffalo Hockey has tripled in price over two years...and thats a bottom line alot will not deal with.

Heard only that more than one were involved and others would be investigated. Again, here say only but I tend to believe everything I here.puckeyone wrote:go back to my earlier post, here , Yes you have heard correctly, its all about the coaches getiing a part time gig at the expense of the kids and parents. , the whole system needs to be trashed form the high up to the bottom, ,so any news out there on the exciled bantam coach,
Heard investigation was moving forward...my guess is that there were others involved as the money that dissappeared is substancial. I know the defendent personally and think in the end there will be a truth that we all don't know...I would be very surprised if he did this...especially alone. All I know forsure is that I didn't take it...only paid it ...

I believe you are absolutely correct in that development should be a choice of the participant and not an automatic charge. But there are individuals in Buffalo Youth Hockey who appear to have been as greedy as the banks, real estate companies and mortgage industry that has created the current economic problem in the United States. The Hockey Development Company web site has apparently shut down recently but if you do a little research on the Internet you will learn some information that might surprise you about your Buffalo Hockey people.
Some of the same individuals in Buffalo Hockey are involved in Minnesota Hockey and the Hockey Operations Committee and have forced the boys and girls participating in the development camp tryout process to incur over $100,000 in fees last year, most paid out as stipends to the high school coaches.
Keep us posted on the ongoing investigation into the six figure disappearance of funds that you talked about earlier at Buffalo Youth Hockey.
