I think that all those that absoultly bash MH should step up and attend the annual meeting that's coming up or get invloved with their association/district etc........What do they say put up or shut up?

Great Save, Here are some directions to the Crowne Plaza:
1) get up from in front of your computer
2) walk to the garage
3) Get on your horse (or in your car)
4) take 94 West to Shingle Creek Parkway Exit
5) Take a Left on Shingle Creek then
6) Take the next left and follow to the hotel on the right hand side
7) Enjoy the meeting
I can see that there are many issues you would like to offer up solutions to. Please post your findings for us to read.
Make sure to find Elliot70 and say thank you for all the work he's doing.

Great Save - what have you done to improve youth hockey in this state?
fighting all who rob or plunder
You have three posts, just to bash Minnesota Hockey.Great Save wrote:elliott70 wrote:The blue puck came from USA Hockey, not from Minnesota Hockey!Great Save wrote: Great Save here! As a matter of fact, no, I, personally do not like blue pucks. I have voted aginst them at every opportunity. I do not enforce blue pucks in D16.
FPP, all 12 DD opposed initially, but we were told that we would have significant input on their use. Another issue that may go away in D16.
But the underlying HEP is a great idea. My problem with HEP is the initial cost/time, and the difficulty in undertaking a change in society with a group of volunteers that are not centralized and changes dramatically from year to year.
2008-2009 Fire Tryouts posted

Fire
Just because someone posted tryout information on their Web site doesn't mean WAHA, or the Mid-America Hockey League, will approve their existence for the 2008-2009 season. Frankly, I think it's unlikely. They violated to many rules for an organization trying to suggest they're compliant. Obviously totally dysfunctional administration to allow a team to participate without properly accredited coaches, insufficient number of Wisconsin based players and playing an insufficient number of games vs. Wisconsin opponents. Anyone ever heard the expression, three strikes and you're out. Until there's permission from WAHA to admit an organization they had to throw out of their State Tournament I wouldn't put to much credence in an organization that's been totally untrustworthy to date.
It'll be interesting to hear how WAHA handles it. I can't imagine they'll just say rules don't necessarily need to be followed. Nor can I imagine they'll reward an organization that had total disrespect for their authority. They were both arrogant and stupid.

Observer...
In regards to the Fire Organization...You have no idea what you're talking about. If you don't know your facts then stay off this topic... If you haven't played for this organization and haven't experieced the quality of hockey that it provides to our kids, then stay off this topic.
Just for the record...It already has been approved.

WAHA approved all 4 Tier 1 teams (Fire, Capitals, Gamblers, Admirals)for competition for 2008/2009. I'm hearing, WAHA is not allowing the following Fire teams to compete in the National Tourney next season Teams: 96,95,94,93.
Observer,
Stick to Observing!..........
