I remember being a kid and being in the cities for anything with the discussion of where you are from.

So I would say Roseau.
-Oh, yeah I know where Roseville is.
No, Roseau.
-Where's that?
Up north.
-By St. Cloud.
No futher north, like near the border.

A lot further north.
-What's further north than Alex?

I am not kidding you, this was a very common exchange with anyone south of like Hwy. 12 or the cities.

It's even worse for me. I'm from Roseau, but go to Northwestern College in Roseville.
