Re: North of the cities
ummmm...fans who have every article of clothing say Roseau or Rams are the ones who are "wraped up" in themselves. I don't even think Green Bay Packer fans wear as much apparel, unless they are connecting on a flight through MSP. Nobody has answered the question, do you have power lines up there?Warroad97 wrote:Its true sad how it is looked at being from the north. I have heard comments about how they cant believe we live this far north, even been asked if we had power lines up here. Are people down in the cities that wraped up into themselves or they just plan slow?

Actually we have developed wireless power capabilities. Phone lines have also been eliminated since we communicate with ESP.K Dope wrote:ummmm...fans who have every article of clothing say Roseau or Rams are the ones who are "wraped up" in themselves. If I were a bettin' man (and I am), I would say Warroad97 does not own one piece of Rams apparel. And if you were from Roseau or Warroad you would be proud too. Holy Crap, did a Moorhead fan just stick up for Roseau?!?!?! It's even worse for me. I'm from Roseau, but go to Northwestern College in Roseville.td577 wrote:I remember being a kid and being in the cities for anything with the discussion of where you are from.
So I would say Roseau.
-Oh, yeah I know where Roseville is.
No, Roseau.
-Where's that?
Up north.
-By St. Cloud.
No futher north, like near the border.
-You mean by Alex.
A lot further north.
-What's further north than Alex?
I am not kidding you, this was a very common exchange with anyone south of like Hwy. 12 or the cities.
