They don't have a right to talk. They are still below .500, and have yet to have a winning season. Rosemount is the better team, they just didn't come ready to play, and LS came ready to work. This goes to show that any team can win on any night. Maybe with the exception of kennedy
Reffing in my opinion was just altogether bad. For both teams.

I kid you not, have you ever been to the New arena in lakeville? When the rosemount players were going into the locker room, a kid spit on our backup goalie so the player gave him a stickhand to the face. Another LS fan tried to grab a players stick and got a stick to the neck/face. Overall classless and should have been kicked out of the arena for that.thefuzz9one1 wrote:Well yea they just beat the #1 team in the LC, they have a right to talk, also spitting on players i find that highly unlikley your just making stuff up now. Rosemount is a downright dirty team and they deserved what they got, nice win south.

As a neutral observer its my opinion that Rosemount simply waited too long to start playing and it cost them in the end. Officiating had nothing to do with the outcome, both teams got chippy half way through the game as the irish got frustrated. As for the fans, it isn't fair to catergorise all LS fans classless..find me one high school that doesn't have a couple of world class yoyos that make their whole school look bad. Its likely the reported incidents occured but how many fans were actually guilty of any thing more than taunting..which as annoying as it is, seems to be part of almost all athletic contests these days. Maybe if the best player on the ice wasn't taunting the crowd, his opponent, the officials or anybody else he could find to yap at, the goofs in the stands may not have been so overzealous. That is no excuse for their stupid behavior but it clearly didn't help. As for the player, he's as good as I've seen all year, if he wasn't carrying that ginormous chip on his shoulder he'd be even better.
I take it your talking about Mr.Brown? He in no way was taunting the fans before the incident. JT didn't score until the 3rd period and this happened after the 2nd period had just ended and they were heading to their locker room.
Let me restate this, Lakeville South has the most classless students and need to grow up.
Oh, and the Varsity girls hockey coach heard some of the parent's badmouthing JT, making fun of his past and what has gone on with his life off the ice like his parents divorce, Is that class? Didn't think so.

I agree, if true it's classless... but it comes with the turf....sad as it is, When your talked about... your just that, talked about! the good comes with the bad.Irish11 wrote:Oh, and the Varsity girls hockey coach heard some of the parent's badmouthing JT, making fun of his past and what has gone on with his life off the ice like his parents divorce, Is that class? I guess running a kid from behind and then rubbing your eye in a faint cry is normal behavior? I was in the bench area as a minor official and the kid was yapping all night. He's a fantastic player no doubt but he's got rabbit ears. Let the student and fan thing go..worst???? ever been to a game on the range? I say again the actions of a few doesn't qualify the entire group as classless. I saw the same behavior at Chaska, ST.Thomas, Aldrich and many other rinks this year. Unfortunately its all to common at high school games. Keep in mind that when anyone loses a game they expect to win they tend to get a little hyper sensitive.

I think even the strongest Rosemount supporter has to admit that they have gotten into more of these type of situations than the average team. They keep coming up week after week. I think Rosemount is a team with a huge amount of talent and they could go to state and do very well but they have to knock off the other stuff and focus only on winning. Having all the players of the talent level that they do doesn't come around often, hopefully they won't waste the chance.

No the officiating wasn't the outcome of the game but both ways it was a factor south played good hands down and rosemount didn't and like I said it my earlier post I understand they are High Schoolers but come on grow up. If what the South Parents said about JT is true then you need to show some more class espically being 35 to how every old you are making fun of someones past like his parents going through a divorce. And many other things, sit down and shut up this kid has gone through a lot and had to fight through it to be what he is today including one of the top players in the state of hockey show the kid a little respect.

Couldn't agree more, but one group of parents, how many we don't seem to know, does not make ALL fans classless. From what I understand most of your "daddies money" players are playing at STA or Holy angels allready. No excuse for their behavior but don't through the baby out with the bath water. I'll bet a good number of these fans had no idea who J.T. even was.

Say all you want about Percy it shows he cares about hockey, but wait just a quick question does 3 of Souths Players even come close to be in the Top 5 with points well Rosemount's whole first line does.. You know who is in there.. Nate Percy. Oh and 3 in the top 10 for goals nope... Your friend Percy is in there too.
I am still in high school, that's why I was sitting in the student section, that's how I saw the spitting on first hand. No one provoked the fans, they were minding their own business, being very frustrated and tired after being outplayed for two periods, and then the idiots started hitting the players helmets, grabbing their sticks, calling them names and then finally spitting on our backup goalie.thefuzz9one1 wrote:Your the biggest baby i have ever met, theres no way the fans did any of that stuff without being provoked not to mention the captains absolute tweak then slamming his stick into the glass and the swearing uncontroably was really classy. I bet in high school you were teased alot?Irish11 wrote:I'm just mad at the idiot kids who think its alright to disrespect someone that bad. I couldn't care less about the game. Spitting on someone is on a whole different level. Maybe they should go use daddys money and buy them some class.
Oh and no I am never teased, I don't let people get away with that.

Nope you thought aaarrrrgggg i cant wait to go home and tell everyone this on the internet and make south look really bad because this and this supposedly happened. Well maybe there is one bad egg....... does it mean the are all bad not. I also recall the irish players taunting the fan section after scoring goals. So that one bad egg got angry and then spit on a players head who in turn try to hit the kid in the face with his stick, so the kid tried to grab it well no kidding. I hope sat down and read this because you obveously a person of gossip and you have nothing else better to do and you just wasted 5 min of your time..... PWN!
We were up and telling them to knock the sh!t off immediately and then some rosemount parents even came down and pushed the kids back and told them to respect the players. And we were down 2-1, after the 1st goal there was no taunting cause it was still early. There was no yelling cause there was nothing to yell about yet. And after all the players got into the locker room the rink security came down and started talking to us, asking what had happened and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT.
Pwn? How old are you? 12? 13?

Throwing a fit dose not show that he has respect for the game, if he did he would shut up and play the game, theres no doubt hes good im not saying hes not, but if you act like that why the hell should he deserve respect? The real players run around everyone, score, lift up there stick and don't say a word. Also making fun of that kid parents because they divorced??? LOL do you know how dumb that sounds? divorces are so common now a days that i bet half the kids there had parents that are divorced, not to mention how in the world did they find that out? What is this 1950s where everyone has a perfect family and if you go divorced you were look down, no, i meet some one and they say there parents are divorced is say....meh whats new? Seriously no one is that heartless. Not to mention if the kids were actually doing what you say they were why didn't you go confront them, talk to the cop there, talk to the rink manager? First of all, I wish I could read this, but obviously Lakeville is not providing you a proper education. So maybe all those transfer out of Lakeville to AHA and STA were for education. A little proof reading before you post might benefit you because now you look like a complete idiot. Also, the fans were spitting on the players, which is why a guy in a red jacket(event supervisor or security I assume) was standing along the rail to prevent it from happening again. As for the getting made fun of in school, you should probably take a look at the very last thing you said, "PWN". Honestly, who says that. To come on here and use gaming slang after terrible writing maybe implies that you should get off the XBOX and hit the books a little more. Yes, Lakeville beat Rosemount, upsets are bound to happen sometime, but if you look at the standings, only one of these teams are in contention for the Lake Conference title, and it's not the Cougars.
As for keepyourheadup's comment about most of the fans not knowing who JT is: You've got to be kidding me. HE IS A TOP SCORER IN THE STATE. I'm sure every single one of those fans know who he is.
I think it's funny you Lakeville guys can name off a few players from Rosemount because I bet no one from Rosemount can name anyone on Lakeville South besides Yumusaklar.

Irish11 you can whine all you want but your views are obviously biased being an Irish fan. Making up stories and calling fans the most classless in the state just sounds like a desparate attempt to make up for the fact that on the ice LS just plain out played Rosemount that night. It takes two to tango so whatever did happen I'm sure the Rosemount fans/players weren't completely innocent. At any rate, if you want to cry go tell your mommy, otherwise lets worry about the on ice stuff eh?
I could care less about what happened on the ice at this point, yes LS beat us and dominated for mostly the whole game. Now after you get the point that you just don't spit on people even if they are taunting, which we had no reason at all to be taunting and weren't taunting after being physically beat the 1st two periods. LS students are little punks and don't even deserve a rink that nice if they can't even control themselves and respect the other team.Prodigy wrote:Irish11 you can whine all you want but your views are obviously biased being an Irish fan.
