I think you've got it. Imagine a kid this age (1993) birthyear goes undrafted in the USHL Futures Draft but does very well as a 10th grader playing for Crookston. Some scout wants to see Minnesota players and hears there's a sophomore for Crookston with 20 goals - boom, he may make a point to see him.watchdog wrote:i beleive i follow you o town. as for an ultimate goal for my kids i doubt they know this sort of thing exsists. i just thought it was odd that their is such a list with such limited resources. its like only taking the flys that are buzzing around the bug zapper and leaving all the ones in the barn.
To me it makes no sense for said Crookston player to join the TPH Thunder, Wisconsin Fire, or Little Caesars teams unless he's going batty as a 9th grader in Crookston.
