In a rematch of the 91' 3rd place game, which the Braves won 3-2, Im going to take the Braves by the same score.

Just wondering how your seats were at the game today. SRO?

Anyway, should be a great game tonight with great crowds. I usually don't talk about bands, but Rapids has the best and biggest band I've seen. Burnsville seems to be one of those teams you don't want to meet in the playoffs. A hot team with an extremely hot netminder. That said, I think they run out of gas tonight.

Indians errrrrrrrrrrrr Thunderhawks 4
Braves errrrrrrrrrrrr Blaze 2

It is extremely important for the Thunderhawks of Grand Rapids not to look past this game because their is no doubt that Burnsville is the underdog in this one......however.......

G-Rapids-5 (White 2, Stejskal, Morse, Makinen)
Burnsville-1

This would be a sweet rematch from last year and from a couple weeks ago.

Burnsville's looking good early on. Good pressure, Rapids looks a bit off so far. 10:12 left in the 1st. Rapids kills off the first penalty of the game, with Roy almost scoring on a short-handed breakaway.

Rapids scores! White from Morse at 8:14.

Crap, they're gonna wave it off as Morse in the crease.

I don't know much about the Blaze, but I like the Finlander behind the bench.

I remember a thread a while back about the turmoil in the Bville program. Seems like they got the right guy to get it on track.

If nothing else, that just added a little humor for me. After the goal that was eventually waved off, the cameras zoomed in on the Rapids student section...Right in the middle of it was the former goalie at St. Cloud Cathedral, Joel Rindelaub. He was cheering like he is Rapids' own.

Under Review.

I see a theme here.

Didn't the NHL go through this back in the late '90's. I think '99 was the year of "let's see if a skate was in the crease."

Ironically the year ended with Brett Hull's feet on the blue.

Stejskal is introducing himself to Burnsville. One victim at a time. :)
