Re: Thanks
Not making the trek up to our beautiful Zenith City? Come up Wednesday, see the Hawks and Jackets, stay the night and take in Cloquet-Rapids on Thursday night. I'll be there at least Wednesday with camera in hand, and probably on Thursday, also. Two great games upcoming which aren't to be missed. Seeing them on TV is nice, but the atmosphere isn't quite the same.Stitch Lips wrote:Great ... I'll be able to see the game then (VHS).

but Little Falls and Moorhead are calling me,
Ship me somewhere east of Suez,
where the best is like the worst,
where there ain't no 10 Commandments,
'an a man can raise a thirst.
Oh, East is East, and West is West,
and never the twain shall meet.
'Till Earth and Sky stand presently
at God's great judgement Seat.
7AA will definitely be one of the best section championship games this year!
Are you going to State?

Well said! First off, congrats to both teams for making it to the section 7AA final game. Should be a great rematch of last years final. Although this year I think it will go in favor of Cloquet. Main reason, Ellingson WILL be the difference maker in this game! He wasn't considered the top senior goalie in the state for nothing! Look for him to control the tempo of this game!EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:How many?boblee wrote:This will be another thrill like last year...more thoughts later in the week.![]()
I can't argue with Cloquet's goalie.
Cloquet 3
Grand Rapids 1
4-2 Cloquet over GR with an (EN) at the end!

being there and watching both games against evenly matched teams id say rapids deserves to go ( as much as i dont wanna see it ) In comparison to CEC they were faster , moved the puck better and where more physical, CEC seemed to lag and I could tell TJ was out there for a decoy more than anything... It was obvious he was timid and always looking over his back , and i knew that the only way he was gonna help them out is on a break-away , and thats exactly what happened...
First time i saw Pat White play.. Hes awesome, he was making alot of Easts "D" look like JV.. And his game winner was very nice... Bottom line just from TJ not being how he was I dont think rapids is gonna let him spring free especially considering they were always a step ahead of rob johnson( who IMO is faster than TJ anyways )qand Keegan...
I do feel bad for leis tho, he deserved to go, at least to the finals...He looked like he was just crushed outthere, But someone has to loose even if it the better goalie..
Congrats to rapids , and i hope cec comes out to play alot harder than they did against ER or there gonna make some range fans have a very happy ride home
