Well, they are going to have the last line change in their first one, so we'll see what happens in a couple of weeks.

Going in, Park will be 1-1-1 against the "middle three", thus they are right in the middle of the crap pile along with everyone else.

This is going to be a great battle all over the ice. Both teams will play with alot of heart. EGF wants revenge and Pirates want to ride the Waves. I think this game will come down to who can stay out of the box, heart, and who is ready to play

So is it a big three, a middle three and a small four now?

So you rotate big and little on years rather than traditionally. I like that.

IS...
How do you rank DL and Park Rapids above EGF, TRF or Crookston? Park registered 9 shots against TRF, and lost whole handedly. But you claim they are better then Thief River???? What do you base that on, thier records??? Let anyone of those three teams (EGF, Crookston, TRF) play Parks schedule and they come out with the same or better record....

Big 3
Warroad
TRF
EGF

Middle 3
Crookston
Park Rapids
DL

Last 4
Fill in the rest however you want....

Havin' a little fun

Post by TTpuckster »

Hey shanty,

You sure can get a lot of reactions with a fun little posting on 8A Big 3's.
People get worked up pretty easily when you send out some fun look sees

After tonight, maybe you can mix them up again as another jab #-o

Because you know quite well that 8A is definetly "up for grabs" [-o<

And, although the mighty PI-RATES are looking to ride a wave for another steal :-k

After tonight, happy is how the GREEN WAVE will feel \:D/

When your a little late to the drop per say, sometimes you don't quite have the vernacular down. Had these bulldogs been in these parts a few weeks/months ago puttin in their two cents, they'd know the "middle three" is not actually a ranking, rather it's a classification based on other factors. Oh well, clarity and answers can come with a little time and patience.

This lose for Crookston isn't all bad. They can take some good out of this game. They outshot EGF 35-19 in EGF's rink, the place where sections take place. They actually OUTSHOT someone! The bottom line is that they are going to have to beat Park Rapids, Warroad and TRF/EGF most likely. Considering that they lost to Park Rapids in OT, lost to Warroad by 1 twice and split with both TRF/EGF, they have a shot. Sections are just around the corner!!

With this win EGF has locked up a 2 or 3 seed in sections. Big win for the wave.

34-17, uncharacteristically the Pirates tilted the ice towards the opponent's end. Not a win, but they're putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

I said moons ago these two clubs would "split the deuce", and they did. Despite a 7 win season to this point, I said yesterday Crox would go into East Side with confidence, and they did. To a Pirate, the East Side Civic is a second home. By the time your senior year rolls around, you've played numerous games there, all of which were important. I can't think of a better venue that sets this team up for a deep run into the tournament.

Good win for the Wave, outshot, probably outplayed a bit over the last 2 periods, but a win nevertheless.

Some things are predictable, like these two splitting the deuce.

On the heels of two tight losses, the Pirates will head north Saturday feeling good about where they've been and where they're going.
