On Strength of Schedule do AA teams get docked for playing A teams like they do with QRF?
No. SOS is a straight average of the rankings of your opponents. So, for example, - you play 4 teams ranked 1, 4, 5, and 10 = 1+4+5+10/4 = 20/4 = 5 is the average ranking and an example of how SOS is calculated. Now, there should be some questions about math terms like normal distribution, mode, median, mean, etc. but I'll leave this out. For now, SOS is calculated as described in the example above.
As an aside...
IMHO the "weighting" takes care of itself (i.e. it is not needed) in a pure algorithm - that is, if Class A teams are really weaker (the point of docking), then this should prove itself and reflect in the rankings without intentional docking. You will see that this is true for KRACH - Look at the overall ranking -

- and see that many of the class A teams end up at the bottom - and this is without any docking of the AA for playing them, other adjustments, etc. It's just a natural happening by virtue of the pure algorithm.
It's also probably why a team like HM gets the #1 in KRACH (not penalized for playing in a Class A conf), but has difficulties of achieving this in QRF (where docking is present I hear).
