Let's wait until AFTER the White Sox.
If... IF... it comes down to the last series, I think I'd rather take my chances with the Royals over the Indians. The Sox are going to have to deal with a team that is at least .500 and on Sunday a pitcher who will be trying to lock down his Cy Young award.
But let's wait until after the Sox to deal with that....
Last night Gardy made some great moves with his pitchers. Short leash on Blackburn, good idea. Using the pitchers who have doing the job lately to hold the lead, excellent.
However, I did not understand Gov's best buddy batting 5th vs Buehrle
Kubel had a great game vs the right hander. Leave it at that.
Ozzie has come out and said he wil not let Morneau beat them.
The best guy right now to protect Morneau or to make them pay for putting him on is Delmon Young if they start a lefty.

Tonight will be fun.
I agree that Gardy came out smelling like a rose, but at the time, you can't tell me you weren't getting itchy when he brought in Boooooof with a 1 run lead. And then he brings in Jose boofin' Mijares to back him up with the potential division title on the line?! Ya gotta be kidding me. Beyond the fact that it actually worked last night, that has got to be a HUGE confidence boost for a kid like Mijares which will hopefully help out the bullpen in future years.
Young is 6-7 batting 6th in the order this series - you can't move him. I think you have to leave Kubel at 5 or plug Cuddyer in there, but Young isn't broke and doesn't need fixing.
The Tigers announced that if they have to play Sox on Monday, they'll start Freddy Garcia... who has pitched in 2 games this season because he was injured for the first 5 1/2 months.
There's more incentive for the Twins to take care of business tonight.
Govs, I was right along with Gardy on every move with the pitchers.
Boof has been a consistent performer out of he pen lately. Same with Mijares and Breslow. They are the only guys he can rely on.
I thought he might bring Boof back for another inning but I really like Mijares. He has some velocity and a nasty breaking ball. If they make the playoffs , he should be on the roster.
Crain, Guerrier , Guardado and Reyes can sit until its 8-1 either way.
As far as Young goes, I dont attribute his hitting success to where he is at in the order. I dont think it makes any difference with him. His appraoch is the same no matter what. He goes up hacking. Reminds me of Puckett alot.
Just before the Twins started scoring i checked my facebook, only to see my brother in law (no good Sox fan) had written "happy the Sox won tonight and the magic number is now 3." I replied it was a bit early for that and then it all started. I'm really savoring this. Poor guy, i think he's convinced he really did jinx them! LOL
I don't think I'm going to get my voice back for a week. My throat is sore. my head hurts, my ears are ringing, but I can't think of the last time I felt so great.
How the hell am I going to be able to sleep?!
CNT... tell me one of your jokes, that should help.

It'll be played in Chicago and was decided by a coin toss a couple of weeks ago.
