#2 Eden Prairie vs Hill-Murray
Moderators: Mitch Hawker, east hockey, karl(east)
I've been reading your posts for quite a while now and finally had to break down and comment --- first of all you seem like an incredibly hate-filled person, particularly toward Hill-Murray. I don't know if you were refused admission to the school or perhaps a family member was, but you seem irrational in your hatred.thorhockey wrote:Thanks wbmd
Heard a radio interview with Lechner (while hoping for a Hill loss today)
and he referred to Timmy and a bunch of other younger players as "little boys". thought that was pretty condescending of him for such a "great coach" .
Titans 2 - 1 - 1 vs Hill 07 to 09
Secondly, I hate to see any coach bashed because I think any type of coaching, particularly at the high school level, is a thankless job. Third, you mock Mr. Lechner's interview and say he is condescending towards his players. I can say this with certainty, he loves his players and gets very attached to them (as do many coaches). In no way has he degraded any of his players. He is very respectful, something you seem to know nothing about. And your sarcastic "great coach" comment really lit me up.... Ask anyone at Hill -- they might not agree with all his decisions 100 percent, but not only is he a great coach, but he is a great human being. Based on your bitter, hate-filled, negative posts, he has more class in his little finger than you do in your entire body. Have a nice evening after you swallow some more of your BITTER PILLS.

Ha man I love it Hill's on the other side of a bad call, to end their hopes at repeating as state champs, how's that for karmaHillfan wrote:A great way to start the tournament off, I must say.
I was really proud of how the H-M boys charged back after a rough 2-0 first period to start the game. As the game advanced, it seemed as though H-M settled down and began to gain some confidence that might have been lost a tad in the first period. From there, it was a pretty darn even game with both teams getting their chances. Both goalies played solid hockey and couldn't do a whole lot about the goals that were scored.
Sure, I may be biased, but the OT goal was pretty questionable. What I noticed from replays was that the player backed into the crease BEFORE he was pushed any farther by an HM player, who actually just backed into him on accident. What I couldn't get over though was how Lou kept saying "the puck was in the crease before the player was"...clearly not true.
Either way, a great game and nice energy from both teams. Best of luck to EP as they move onto a tough Blaine team tomorrow night.
Best of luck to the Pioneers as well. Two more wins and you'll still have yourselves a solid trophy from the big show!
WBhockey, this is for you![]()
Past 10 games between WBL/HM: Pioneers 10 wins, Bears 0
Section Champions 4 years in a row: H-M Pioneers
Need I say more for you?

I get a kick out of the fact that people from Tartan & WB have the loudest voices when taking shots at Hill. Win a section title then fire away boys. Tartan loses to a #8 seed (still cracks me up) & WB hasn't beat HM the last 10 times. Keep taking shots guys while we keep playing in March.
Ya gotta luv all the good press the Pioneers have received because of the "incident". When kids/parents dream about playing in the State Tourney they keep sending their kids our way. We just take page out of the Treasure Island commercial..."Your Odds are Better Here". When you look at the weakness of our section and how young our team is, the odds only look better.

A very nice finish - for the Pioneers JV teamwbhockey02 wrote:You talk about us taking shots at you i was just actually repeating a line from an Hm fan when i said the HM fans are quiet once they lose, and by the way nice 6th place finish this year at state![]()

Maybe it's just me, but some of the student sections try to make the game more about them, than what's really the show- the game on the ice.(see White Bear )
