Shots were pretty close 25-23 at end of regulation and it was a great back and forth game. Roseau went up 2-0, then it was 2-1 when Hannah Brandt scored. Casey Knajdek back for her first game this year went coast to coast to tie it early in the third she had a big impact all day. It ended on Great 2 on 1 Mackenzie Saad pulled D and Mellie Doyle one timed the pass into the net great water bottle shot from high slot. Allie McKeever played very big in goal for HM.Oilers08 wrote:Hill-Muray 3

WOW this appears to be one of the bigger upsets of the year! Great wint for NSP they have a group of very hard working and talented girls - they play Hill Murray 12/12 @ NSP should be a good showdown.MNHockeyFan wrote:Saturday, December 6 Recap

I would agree on both! There just seems to be lots of parity this year all around. With the Top 15-20 in Class AA and maybe the Top 5 or so in A, you just never know what's going to happen on any given night...joehockey wrote:WOW this appears to be one of the bigger upsets of the year! Centennial over Minnetonka is also a big win!
Thanks, the MGHCA site is not always accurate!DmanDad1980 wrote:Correction on the Mayo/Albert Lea game...MNHockeyFan wrote:Saturday, December 6 Recap

MGHCA seems to be having some problems w/ getting correct scores, and/or even getting scores from coaches, as many games seem to be 0-0...MNHockeyFan wrote:Thanks, the MGHCA site is not always accurate!DmanDad1980 wrote:Correction on the Mayo/Albert Lea game...MNHockeyFan wrote:Saturday, December 6 Recap

MGHCA doesn't have problems. The site is fine. Its the human component that doesn't always work. Some coaches aren't good at computers, some coaches aren't diligent in recording scores and some coaches don't really like the bother of inputing information. Its too bad because I think its an excellent tool for coaches to correct the mistakes made in the scoresheets and the scouts can use it to get summarized detail on stats. If your coach doesn't use MGHCA I suggest the parents of your team suggest that he or she use it.DmanDad1980 wrote:MGHCA seems to be having some problems w/ getting correct scores, and/or even getting scores from coaches, as many games seem to be 0-0...I know that this is the second time the site has had a wrong score for Mayo this early in the season...MNHockeyFan wrote:Thanks, the MGHCA site is not always accurate!DmanDad1980 wrote: Correction on the Mayo/Albert Lea game...

BTW, props to AL, Mayo did not play well, but outshot AL in periods one and three, and still in the end AL had a close game.
AL skated two lines all game, and Mayo had to finally put one in the net w/ 2 minutes remaining to take the victory...
AL will do well in Section 1A, and it appears that it will be a good section w/ Northfield (undefeated), Faribault and Red Wing this year...
The one suggestion I have to improve the site is that when the score and stats are being input it should not be "live" for the public to see. It seems you never know how long the process will take once it's started, and the Mayo game is a good example: whoever started it did not even finish. They should make it so that all of the data is entered first, then you would hit a "submit" button to post the final game results all at once.OntheEdge wrote:MGHCA doesn't have problems. Good comment but again I think that is more of a human error in which you are making a good suggestion to make it more idiot proof.MNHockeyFan wrote:The one suggestion I have to improve the site is that when the score and stats are being input it should not be "live" for the public to see. The only part about doing it live is that not all arenas are equipped with the internet and many are not going to be. The stats are entered and there is a submit button. If a coach takes it seriously it is very simple. If they really don't want to worry about it in the first place it will not be accurate and the only one to blame is the coach.OntheEdge wrote:Good comment but again I think that is more of a human error in which you are making a good suggestion to make it more idiot proof.MNHockeyFan wrote:The one suggestion I have to improve the site is that when the score and stats are being input it should not be "live" for the public to see.
