I know what you're thinking -- Roseau doesn't have a lake to play on -- that's correct, the supposed plan was to make a rink in the fair grounds by the grand Stands.

I don't know how much truth is behind this, but i just heard it through the grapevine... 8)
If you just heard that today it must have came pony express.
i'm confused? :?

just got back from Kansas City and missed the whole Hockey Day. Hope my DVR worked. This is the only thread I have read tonight, so far. Someone else told me the other threads really hammered on Roseau. Hope to watch the game and get my own impression. But I had a question for everyone. BIAFP lives in Erskine. Doesn't Hwy 2 go through that town? Just a word of caution. If you live on the south side of 2 maybe better be careful what you say about those southern boys. Someone on this bored said that's the line where the northern teams start. Personally, I think of the state as metro and outstate. And I guess I qualify as a flannel brain even though I live SE of the metro. I prefer city folk to cidiot. I lived there a long time.

Hey Wishock, you are wise to wait to watch the game before making a judgment about how it went. I don't know what game some of those who are hammering on Roseau were watching. Roseau outshot Blaine 30-20, and even in the first period which everyone seems to want to give to Blaine, they out shot them 11-10 and had an equal number of scoring chances at 4. Starting in the second, Roseau began to control the game. I recorded the game, and for about the first 6 minutes of the second you'll hardly see Roseau's goalie because all the action is down in the Blaine end. They outshoot them 11-4 and have the best scoring chances including a Landman shot off the crossbar. I hope your DVR worked. I also recorded the game and have watched it a couple of times. Roseau wins the game like they do every game, by making adjustments to match their opponents strengths and weaknesses. Hats off to Coach Oliver as he is doing a great job.
