4-3 Final Not bad for East not having their starting goalie, defenseman and wing.

My radio conked out somewhere in the third period; I'm glad everyone else was enjoying the pro-Rapids commentary as much as I was.

Considering all the players out tonight (and how much Skoog struggled, according to our radio friends), I'll take any sort of win. Nice job by the Hounds to survive and avoid a seeding conundrum in 7AA. I was glad to see the second line get on the scoresheet despite the Olson injury.

Nice win, but proof they can't take Rapids for granted in 7AA. On to Eden Prairie.

Was waiting for someone to post that. How many players was Hermantown missing in their game, by the way?

Opt up.

that score differential means absolutely nothing.. nice try tho

Is it like a personal thing on the boards why nobody can say why Parker is out? Also , when will east actually have a full healthy lineup?

Exactly right, boys. Take Mensinger, Benson and Thomas (or Mattson) off Hermantown's roster and that game on Tuesday goes another way.

Yes, I suppose you could say it's a "personal thing." He's out for two weeks.

Repensky should be back next Saturday vs. Minnetonka. Not sure on Olson; I've heard a couple of weeks.

Hopefully two weeks on Olson. I can't get confirmation on this, so it may be more serious than what's being said.

thanks for the heads up.. would be awesome to actually play the game with a full lineup huh...?? Between Olson and Repensky , haven't we been short since game one?

Correct this Duluth East line-up has never been at full strength. Wrap your mind around that one.

Right. We haven't had both play in the same game yet. Olson's injury is more iffy than Repensky's. Would like to get them both back and avoid another injury.

I don't think any. Realize that injuries can make a big difference. Just having some fun on a boring evening.

Just get Olson healthy by the end of the regular season. Having him out early has already demonstrated that Lundgren is a very capable top-line replacement. Someone else will rise up, as the depth on this club is impressive.

yeah, I remember a Hermantown team last year full of injuries go down to Eden Prairie and lost with a tic remaining in OT to a senior led team.

Maybe Duluth East should suck it up and put Hermantown on the schedule instead of those cupcake AA teams they travel to beat outside of their section? Eden Prairie did...although they looked ahead after last two seasons and must have said the same thing...we'll schedule you again when you opt up... can't have a single A public school play us that well and beat us right? (a lot of adult ego's and pride invovled)
