What was with Westin's little temper tantrum there on that scrum in front of the Hibbing net? kicking????

He was flopping like a crappie out of water

Good game thus far....needless to say inconsistent reffing both ways...they have lost control of that aspect of the game

Yeah, that was definately an attempted kick by the Virginia player and he should have been sent home. I do see that diving thing that everyone says Jamnick does or at least I saw it in the first period when he latched on to the Virginia players stick and threw himself backward while his teammate was taking a penalty.

Not as intense as I thought. However, Virginia won for two reasons:

1) Powerplay. Virginia has one of the better powerplays in the state.
2) Depth. Hibbing couldn't keep up in the third.

Still disappointed in Westin's diving.
In the third, Hendrickson was smart to play a 1 man forecheck.
Congrats to Virginia.

I straight up knew this game would come down to chippyness and the power play. All four goals!

Congrats to Virginia on winning this game.

So the final was 4-1, not 3-1?

The final was 3-1. I think he means all the goals scored in the game were on the PP.

In the third it looked like Virgina went into Neutral Ice Trap Mode and it worked. Hibbing didn't make a play, Hibbing didn't forecheck, Hibbing didn't handle the puck, and Hibbing didn't show any urgency to score in the third. 3-1 is not an overwhelming lead and I'm very disapointed in there play in the third. 5 years in a row now just gets old. Its not even depressing anymore its just getting plain old. I don't know what this program has to do to win.

THE STIGMA OF SECTION FINALS CONTINUES FOR HIBBING.

Great Defensive trap by V-Town in the third period. Like I said in my earlier post puck control is not Hibbings strong suit, nor is coming from behind when it is more than one goal.

Some bad calls my the officials on both sides of the puck, really prevented any flow in the game.

Best of Luck Blue Devils in the State Tourney.

Virginia proved that they were the #1 team in the section.. hibbing didnt have enough depth. Jamnick hardly ever left the ice the whole game and at the end he was gased and couldnt do a thing. Will is the top goalie in the area and makes few mistakes.

Good Luck at STATE DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!

All the other Virginia fans won with class but now here's the classless Virgina fan chirping in. Ignorant to the core. Typical. Win with some class buddy, no one here is making excuses. You've posted 5 times to my 150. You can't say anything about not knowing what your talking about.
