Apparently you heard wrong since he played Saturday against Elk River.Don Imus wrote:I heard Moberg got cut last week after talking with Waterloo about possibly playing there this year. Coach didn't like it and he was gone just like that. Really a bummer for a quality contributor to a quality forest lake squad.

Re: O
Dont get me wrong Owen Collette is a very good goalie and is the backbone to a good WBL team but there are better goalies out there. Meyers for 1 is very talented at Benilde, Alex Fons gets my vote for the best goalie in the state, I also like Matt Cooper out of 7aa. However 2 of those goalies are Juniors and I would think Collette, pending he has a good season would have a good chance of getting the Brimsek. A word of advice though: dont be like every other WBL fan on here, and rave about how good your team is and every player on it untill they actually accomplish something and get by hill in sections and past the first round.E wrote:What do you mean "ummmm.....sure" who is better?ImissMYhockey wrote:ummmm.....sureE wrote: Owen Collette is the best goaltender in the state hands down. Had heard good things about Roseville's-Podobinski, watched him tonight against Centennial and he stunk up the arena, he didn't even attempt to block many shots. I'd say they were all soft with the exception of 1. Talked to some people and they said the same happened the other day against Rochester. Apparently his head is not in the game.

Last year he did have a decent year and had started some talk about him but he doesn't have as strong as a team in front of him and I can see where your coming from. Sometimes it looks like he doesn't care.avery wrote:Had heard good things about Roseville's-Podobinski, watched him tonight against Centennial and he stunk up the arena, he didn't even attempt to block many shots. proctor goalie
Has anybody seen that proctor goalie play. He has single handedly held proctor in a lot of games against tough teams they have had no business being in last year and he will be even better this year.
Kurt doesn't won't have the defensive help he had last year. I can't see him producing the numbers he did last year. Hope he proves me wrong.
