I fully agree with you Majkozak.
Can you explain to me how his team won state last year with him in goal then? Did they play teams like Lakeville all 3 games last year? I know someone out there has the answer for me, you all are so smart. I am sure it will be the competition wasnt as good last year, etc. Give it a rest will you.
A goalie is only as good as the defence that is in front of him. He was brilliant in defeating Moorehead last year in the sectionals and as a result the best team in the state wasn't down in St. Paul last March. Neither were a lot of the other top teams in the state. This year the competition appeared to be much better, especially the top 4 teams. On paper Roseau had a better team than last year, but you know how that works out. For as good as Lee is, Phillipi stole the show with a stronger defence in front of him. Enough said.

You and Orange & Black can both get jobs scouting for SCSU. I'm going to go out on limb here and say that all 5 posts you've made have all been as brilliant as the above.
Lee's goal against avg. was shown to be exactly what it is...a farce. As soon as he faced good teams and quality shots, he got lit up. I am going to enjoy watching Ness do the same thing in a few years...that is, if Lee makes its at SCSU
Didn't Mike Lee stop breakaway after breakaway to keep the game as close as it was against Hill? Ness sure looked WAY better after he got hit a few times and was nonexistent.

I guess Edina's soft schedule caught up to them too. Maybe they should schedule the Gophers and Wild next year to make sure they're better prepared for the playoffs.

What a dumb comment.
Honestly, it is. So you guys are saying Roseau should play a tougher schedule? They play all the big boys from the north don't they? You expect them to play city teams or even central Minnesota teams? You do realize that Roseau is by Canada? I'm sure there are many city teams that would drive six hours to play Roseau and i'm sure Roseau would be thrilled to drive hours upon hours to play city teams every week. Not every school has the luxury of paying their players and rich parents supporting things like this. Some schools in the cities have more kids enrolled in them than Roseau has in the whole town. Have you all heard of geography and the concept of private schools or rich communities?

Please tell us which teams are "paying their players". Also give the evidence you have to support this wild claim. I'm sure the MSHSL would like to know.

I think he meant paying their players for support like this i.e. expensive metro ice time, chartered bus, etc. At least I hope so, as paying a kid to play high school hockey is kind of absurd.

thats true too there were a lot more upsets last year in sections and state that helped roseau not have to play a couple of the better teams like edina, etc..

You are such a hater pondyplayer93 its hilarious. The title was given to them now? Hahaha. Ignore the fact that Roseau had to beat the #1 team in state to grab the title. Did you get beat up by a Roseau kid growing up? What exactly is your malfunction?

Well I was right, you all say he sucks, he got lucky because the right teams got beat before state, better defense last year, lucky bounce of the puck, etc. You guys all make me laugh! Do carry on with your lives and worthless postings on these threads! All you can do is cut down on kids who you all only hope to dream to be and wish you could have won a title or two or played in the big show!
