I cant make it out but I'd PM him back and tell him that even Johnson could go undefeated playing Roseau's schedule.

if you watched the games between these two teams, youd know whos better, the first game was a fluke
Both times they played each other Minnetonka had over 45 shots, they just ran into a hot goalie.
Rationalize all you want, the goalie is part of the team, having a better goalie is not a fluke.
come playoffs its gonna take more than a good goalie to beat minnetonka you need an offense which hopkins doesnt have when they play good teams

There it is, I see they wooped up on Lake of the Woods.

What are you driving at here? What's your point? I'm detecting undue sarcasm.

Why don't you read my posts regarding Johnson before you start running your uneducated mouth. I've stated time and again that I'm well aware that Johnson's glory days are probably in the past, but I'm not going to bail on them just because the team isn't as successful as it once was. I'm not a frontrunner, or someone who will forget their roots like others. Johnson's history in the state is well defined, as is those of other inner-city schools like Minneapolis Southwest, and if you want to be taken seriously, it might be a good idea for you snot nosed mamas' boys to learn it, and not show the disrepect to those who set the plate for you.

By the way, try locating a spell check and the Shift key.

Govs, it's not you. It's Packerboy. Nothing but good memories of the old rivalry between Johnson and Roseau. My formative years. Well, maybe preformative. Always pulling for Johnson and hate to see them down. Maybe they will rise again. Even my son who has caught the bug from me is always checkiing to see how Johnson is doing.

You sir deserve to be shot.

Here is my top 10:

1) Benilde
2) Tonka
3) Edina
4) H-M
5) Roseau

These are the ONLY 5 teams in the state that have a shot at winning the tourney with Benilde being leaps and bounds ahead of the others. 4 strong lines along with super-sophomore-stud Meyers between the pipes there is no way they can wrong. Nobody else stands a chance unless the state championship game happens to be on a holy day.

Im not sure they beat the crap out of them it was a close game that could have gone either way and I believe BSM had 2 goals waved off at the end of the game. I think it will be another good one if they play again and could agree with BSM or Tonka at number 2.

I could not agree with JV State Champs more.

At the Tonka-BSM game, the refs had their heads up their @$$.

They waved off two goals at the end, with which Benilde would have one therefore being the number 1 team in the state.

I agree that the Catholics are great.

But Edina has had the best season....so far.

So, to sum up: Catholics great; Edina best; Minnetonka right there; and Roseau up north.

The Edina versus Roseau rants are getting a bit insane from a Duluth East fan. Lets look at a few facts.

Grades 9-12 Enrollment:
Edina - 2232
Roseau - 410

Roundtrip mileage from Roseau to Minneapolis - 750 miles.

Why does Roseau play most of their games with the "local" teams (Warroad is really the only local team)? Money, time, and the fact that the players are STUDENTS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Maybe all of the folks who are ranting against Roseau should eject Springsteen's song "Glory Days" from their CD player

DMP, we dont care why poor witto Roseau so far away plays a crap schedule. The fact of the matter is: they do.

As far as Springsteen goes, one of his CDs is always in my changer so forget it.
