I now hear that a certain high profile individual in our country (who I can not mention by name nor mention his cause) is using YES: We Can as his battlecry for victory.

Geez, where did he get that slogan?

Well I wouldn't be pushing trademark infringment on this one Shanty.

I'm guessing your not sending royalties to the band who wrote the song "It Can Happen". Is the band name is just irony?

That depends on what your definition of "is" is?

Famous YES's in History

1. "Yes" (Al Michaels) In response to his own question, Do you believe in Miracles?
2. "Yes" (Col. Jessep) In response to Lt. Kaffee's question, Did you order the code red?

Not to nitpick, but Jessup's actual response was, "You goddam right I did!"
Semantics.

Yes. The written response from the character played by Kelly Preston while having dinner with Billy Chapel in "For Love of the Game".

I don't see 8A holding a candlelight vigil for their demise.

Even though Warroad is only a bump on the Single Lane road from Constantinople to St. Paul, Father packerboy might still administer last rights.

The David I know is one tough guy,
He'll keep coming back and won't say die.

Never worry about him as he is fine,
Physically no, but yes in the mind.

Kansas State ended 24 years of losing, pain, shame, and agony last night by finally beating Kansas in their own barn.

Who can make it happen tonight?

Austin (0-17-2) vs. Rochester Mayo
Eveleth (#130) vs. Grand Rapids (#22)
RLF vs. Park Rapids (19-0)

If you just look around, it happens every darn night.

Tonight it's your turn bacause........

Thats right IS, We need to tune in our senses to the "happenings" around us or we will miss out.

Early in this century , Lakeville had 2 teams that entered section play with under .500 records. Teams like that cant make it happen, right?

No, wrong. They ended up in St Paul playing in the big show.

More proof that YES:It Can Happen

Just one more day and it will be February, tournament month. The experts say madness happens in March, YES: IT Does, but it has its origins in February. In only 20 days the Section 8A cauldron will be lit in front of the Mini Ralph marking the commencement of 10 magical days of competition between 11 hopefuls.

As packerboy has told us, YES: It Can Happen to those that you least expect.

Here's what lies between elliott's boys and St. Paul.

-1 win over a team that his boys have already beaten.

-1 win over a team who has lost to Devils Lake (ND).

-1 win over a team that has lost to Mound, Denfeld and who just surrendered running time on home ice.

or

-1 win over a team who is in uncharted waters.

From the depths of elliotts' Christian heart, he knows It Can Happen.
