Hockey Hall of Fame Game

Heard that Eveleth is having a Women's D1 game. Any truth to this?

Figured this would be the spot to ask

This may seem like an off-the-point question, but one some others may have. What about insurance purposes, such as medical? IF a girl gets sick on or off the ice. Hope it goes well for you and would like to see some games. Any possibility to scrimmage some D1 or DIII schools or is this a NCAA violat...

DULUTH NEWS TRIBUNE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

I noticed no one had a thread going yet so i figured i would start one. nice article in yesterdays paper. Emily Erickson, one of Minnesota’s best high school girls hockey players, gleans more satisfaction when others succeed. The Greenway winger posted 80 points as one of five finalists for Ms. Hock...

I know everyone wants this thread dead but i think we forgot about #15 from GRG who was knocked out of the game as well. Any updates on her and #21 injured from a previous game at state? Regardless if they were or are penalties, doesnt matter at this point, but it is irony, bad luck, call it what yo...

I dont know if this was mentioned on this thread as i just opened it for the first time, so if it was, forgive me. I find it interesting that GRG had as many if not MORE fans in the championship game than the Metro team with the largest enrollment, EP. a half-hour drive compared to a 3 hour drive. T...

It is not so much the hit that or lack of the hit, as it can be judged by the eye of the beholder. what bothers me, and what i have been stating, or trying to state, is that officiating for girls hockey is all over the place. Does anyone want to disagree with this statement? all my posts talk about ...

I think Winnings was just making the point we have 8 months to demand change. There should be a training session on womens hockey on top of high school hockey. I plan on emailing my concerns, thanks for the link! I think alot of coaches know what will be called and what will not be called, they dema...

No question boarding is a MAJOR. No question that it should be a MAJOR if it was intentional or not. Seriously how many checking from behind penalties are intentional? I played the game, I received a checking from behind, by no means was it intentional. that is not the point. the point is could this...

I personally think girls hockey REFs are all over the place. I have never seen such a discrepancy from game to game. Very similar to baseball and umpires, you never know what you are going to get with each ump, where the strike zone will be. There should be no grey area in hockey; look at the boys, ...

I did see it on tv and in person, everytime still justifies to me that the girl should have gotten a 5 minute major. no question, i am not from GRG for the record just a girls hockey fan. How that hit on Heather Horgan was not a MAJOR penalty is beyond me! I dont complain about officating often but by giving the EP girl a MAJOR i would be willing to bet that #15 from GRG does not get knocked out of the game either.

That was a brutal hit that deserved more than a 2 minute time out.

what is the criteria again? 1. leading penalty minutes? 2. yelling at the ref? 3. getting kicked out of a game because of fighting (temper?) 4. your coach sending you to the locker room early in a game cuz of your temper? 5. physically fighting with your own teammate-who tries to stop you from figh...
