Re: Very Nice Comments
I think you also have to look at how many of your B level players are making it onto successful high school teams when those perennial A players from the squirt level on up are getting cut from that team. Development is taking that relatively small herd of mites through the system and forming power...

What about coaches using that final minute of ice time in critical situations as a reward to those have put forth the most effort in both practices and games? They earned it, give it to them. Although that is a coaches final decision and how they decide that is up to them. HockeyDad41 asked who is ...

Coaches who shorten the bench at the youth level must really be under a lot of pressure to win. That's pretty sad. You'd be surprised how much pressure some coaches are put in, even at the youth level. One thing I haven't seen being talked about is motivation. Everyone talks about confidence, and h...

I can't believe that no one has talked about the tenders for both teams, Danny Harper and Jim Kruger. Both played in Elite in the fall and have been on varsity for 3 years now. IMO, two of the top tendies in the metro. I expect them to step up big and make it a goaltender duel. I'll take Tonka-2 Bl...

My read is that his rant says there is room for your kid on the B2 team. He doesn't want your B2 kids, and 5 or 6 of his friends, playing with his B1 kid and 5 or 6 of his friends. He has a point: almost every kid that plays baseball, will wind up playing coed church league slow pitch softball rath...

Did D11 have B1 and B2 levels last year, or just A, B and C? From a district's viewpoint, there is an issue within the district schedule if you have a B level - some associations have 1 A team and 1 B team, some have 1 A, 2 B 1C - two equal B teams create more parity in district games, rather than ...

Teams with huge programs like Edina, OMG, Eden Praire are killing their competition already this season against their metro area rivals. They are going to come into a tournament up north and just walk everyone. Their 3rd line will compete with most teams 1st line. This decision is definitely a water...

This is a very true statement. EP-4 HM-2 You gotta believe this game will be closer than most think but I don't believe in the upset, and I really don't like private schools. Sounds like a little bit of bitterness from a WBL fan whose average team didn't make the tourney. (Get him a waahmburger and ...

Well lets see If Tartan beat Stillwater 4 - 2 and Govs beat Tartan 4 - 3 Then Govs beats Stillwater 4 - 2 Now assuming Hill upsets WBL Then : If Tartan beat Hill 4 - 2 (en) And Govs beat Tartan 4 - 3 Then Govs beats Hill for a State birth 4 - 2 (en) I very much like this prediction. It seems logica...

I graduated a few years ago and my freshman year of college I cam back to watch their games, and I was their bes...

moorhead can't afford to look past them. i think this game will be closer than expected. If tech plays good D. This will probably be a closer game than most expect. 4-2 moorhead You don't need to say the same thing twice. But I agree, it isn't a look over game for Moorhead, they have to play hard a...
