They just knew how good Isaac Kohls is at hitting empty nets, even if he can't score on multiple breakaways with the goalie in. I wouldn't have pulled him either under the circumstances but after that second goal, I might have started the second with the other goalie. Hindsight is always 20/20 I gu...

So there isn't any home ice advantage with Bloomington playing in the other game. That makes sense. Do they always split them between BIG/Braemer or just when Edina and Jefferson are involved? They always have the 7AA semis/championship at the DECC, which is great atmosphere and probably the most l...

Just curious who the rest of the state would like to see win. I'm torn between the private school and the kid who used to play for St Thomas. But everyone hates edina and private schools. So, if the majority of fans could choose, who would they have win? Growing up in the northland I'd have to say ...

First off, i don't think its that there aren't any good goalies, the best in the state left this year to play more games and better competition, so they develop faster, also as you may or may not have noticed there are alot of goalies from Finland, the reason, they train alot different then the rest...

Re: Fons of Hopkins
Does he play his senior goalie, Buonomo, or does he go with the top Sophomore goalie in the state who has not lost all year long? What about his former Teammate, Alex Fons. Does experience beat out the "hotter" goalie as of now? Why I like Krueger over Fons. Fons is a good goalie, but he ...

Re: edina vs. Minnetonka round 2
Yes 12 shots every goal is good but actually Edina had the 36 shots so he did even better giving up a goal every 18 shots.wingmaster wrote: Anyway, I think the shots were close to 36-24 so that would mean that MTKA's sophomore goalie did fairly well, giving up only one goal for every 12 shots.
