Yep. He impressed coaches enough at their camp in Spooner that they bumped a vet off the protected list in order to protect Dan.

I think Ben Hanowski had been talked about earlier in this thread. This article just came to my inbox.

I thought Rush didn't make Tri City, tried out for Green Bay the following week and didn't make their all star team. Didn't I read that on this forum somewhere? That is what I had thought, but I think TC "allowed" him to tryout for Green Bay. If GB then wanted him, they would have had to ...

Hey Ryan, maybe you can answer this... Is Hanowski going to make Omaha's 25 man roster? It looks like you show him on the affiliate list for now, and it looks like he's set to play in the Elite League, which would indicate he'll spend the entire season in Little Falls. I guess he could join Omaha a...

I heard the goalkeeper from Mankato West was headed to Fargo. Anyone else hear this? That'd be interesting. Does anyone know Matt Hemingway's intentions for this season? Will he head to Fargo or stay in Alexandria? Fargo tendered Mike Lee and Cody Campbell, so I'd imagine they will be on the roster...

25 man protected lists have been updated:

I am missing quite a bit of info on some players, so if anyone out there is able to help me fill in some blanks, it would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks.

The coach in Omaha loves defense and plays a trap, so it might not be fun for a offensively talented player like Ambroz. Didn't seem to bother Seth's older brother Matt when he played for the guy at Tri City. Matt wasn't 15 and still coming into his own either :D Omaha released their roster and Set...

Interesting since he tried out for Fargo following Omaha camp. I guess Fargo was open, so I don't know if he could have been protected by Omaha and still participated or not.

If this is indeed Pat Borer, he was moved to the affiliate roster for SC, which leads me to believe he decided to stay in HS for his senior year.

I'm thinking that Green Bay wanted to take a look at him and Tri-City gave Rush permission to tryout up there. If they wanted him, they would have had to trade for him and if not, TC would have a spot for him. Rush did make the all-star game in TC. There was a similar event involving Sioux City givi...

Alec Rush is on the team in Tri-City.

I recently learned that a coach can give a player permission to tryout with another USHL club. If that other team would want that player, a trade would have to be made.

Ryan, I talked to Tom during Model camp and he will be the coach for Tri City this coming season. Thanks. It will be interesting to see how he does. There have been rumors swirling about the team being sold to a group that owns Salmon Arm (BCHL) but it seems the hangup is that the team and arena th...

Did he make Green Bay?
He was a futures pick by Tri-City and made the all-star game at their tryout camp. I don't know for certain if he made GB's team, or the AS roster at this point.

well he was given all the information and was sent emails about gear....he might have been cut from the 30 man or trying out somewhere closer but right out of camp he made it That'd make sense. Probably best for him if he doesn't go there anyways. That franchise is in complete chaos and still have ...
