Star Tribune stats are incorrect. Minnetonka way outshot STA in 2nd and 3rd periods, yet the stats show the opposite. Also didn't account for the empty net goal properly.

I can't believe it either. Over the whole Elite season, he's certainly been more dominant than many of the kids chosen for either of the Minnesota teams. He also fits the prototype of what "they" want to see.

I was there. The STA goalie played fine. It was the entire team that made it look like he didn't play very well. I'm sure that if he wasn't playing very well, the coach would have pulled him much earlier in the game.

Altrichter will definitely be the one in nets. STA didn't need a goalie against Tartan (10 shots, zero scoring chances), and Wynne hasn't proven himself yet against a stronger opponent.

Crandall's backup is a kid named Altrichter, a freshman last year. Apparently he is as good as, if not better, than Crandall was as a freshman. He made alternate to the National 15s camp. The other is Wynne, also a freshman, and a very good goalie who played JV.
