That was the Crush 98 Open not the Crush 98 Invite team.
Attack was mostly 99 Machine players.

I would say go check it out. $10 is not much for the time to check out the players and to ask questions of the coach/manager.

Tier 1 in Minnesota

Minnesota already has a successful Tier 1 AAA organization that benefits
Minnesota. Shattuck
I believe that their is a need for more options, not only on the high end but the middle and the lower levels.

Team Wisconsin has always been and still is a WAHA created team. The WEHL teams are all also created and managed by WAHA. No where did I state or imply anything negative about this setup. It is another option and I have stated before I am all for players having options.

I would guess that XVegan is concerned with the entity that oversees and regulates Wisconsin hockey (WAHA) is now in competition with the teams it is has authority over. With WAHA's expansion of leagues and teams it has drawn some players away from AAA Tier 1 teams. WAHA should promote options for e...

AAA Tier 1 is a good option for some players. Having a few options is a good thing, whether it is higher end or lower end of the skill spectrum. XVegan has seen the AAA option as a good direction in his hockey community. JSR obviously doesn't. Good for both of them, and I am sure neither would want ...

The teams will not be changing that much from last season. The Fire is just
stating the rules and that they will be following the rules and will verify that each team is following the rules. One thing to remember is that they are now a WAHA Unclassified organization not Tier 1 AAA.

Maybe the 97 Bulldogs will be competitive at the next tourney. Let the coach and the Min/Wis League know that you are concerned. But beware, will you be happy when they bring in a few ringers and those 3 to 5 "competitive" players end up with less ice time? Make the best out of this, keep ...

hockeymama323 quote I just don`t understand Wisconsin Coach`s intentions for the league. It seems to me that he is not thinking competitively. I have nothing to do with the Min/Wis League, so I have no intentions. Some Min/Wis teams are competitive and many are not. Example 97 Bulldogs, not competit...

I think you need to understand that I am saying "Caveat Emptor"! Once again, ask a lot of questions, if you want skill development, ask the coach "how does this team promote skill development" and then verify. If you want to play in tournaments ask "what tournaments" an...

I think everyone hopes for that "AAA Utopia", skill development, challenging competition, good refs, nice rinks etc. Do your research on any potential team. Some teams (and some coaches) will give you a sales pitch, it is up to you to ask questions and verify what you are being told. Don't...

Then the Min/Wisc teams are not what your looking for. Like I stated before, they want kids to have fun, so if you miss a tourney to play Lacrosse or baseball no big deal, but they will find someone to fill in. Good point for all AAA parents, always ask a lot of questions, one of which definitely ne...

It is fair from the stand point that a player "pays as he plays" for the cost of that one tourney and the player that "commits full season" pays for the full season and all tourneys. If you are on a Min/Wis team you are aware of this.

hockeymama323 - do you know what the Jr Bulldogs/Min/Wis cost are? and who is paying for what? obviously if there were some unfair financial dealings going on, you would see a mass exodus of players from these teams.

Lets just set the expectations straight for everyone. Any Min/Wis AAA League team will have different players on the rosters at every tourney. They are about kids playing hockey and making new friends and having fun. So, if kids can't make a tourney for whatever reason they let others that can fill ...
