Re: Box Score
Someone from TRF told me Forney sat out with a shoulder problem the whole second period. Can we get a confirmation on that injury.

Lee
I think we will see Lee mature fast at the college level. Also keep in mind that he went thru the nhl testing process and that is very mentally challenging. Lets give him a chance as the people that chose him to play in the nhl make their living by knowing who can and can't play at that level.
</...

Re: IIHF vs. NHL
The nhl central scouting service had Lee at number15, Niskanen at number 31, and Oshie at 43. These are the so called experts so they know talent when they see it. When ever you draft kids at 18-20 years old you are taking a gamble on how they will develop both mentally and physically, but that is t...

SO?? Maybe a little to convenient tho. All of a sudden he is done after his son graduates. Look at it at from both sides and it doen't look good. Good for him if he is moving on and bettering himself and family.

Don't you think that most seniors are already or have been playing in the ushl since their seasons got over? Even some juniors--Lucia for one.

Re: Not good!
On a earlier post it was stated that the app deadline was yesterday. Has anyone got any info on who they are trying to bring in ?? My guess is that one of the board members has someone in the wing waiting.

Re: Arena Board
The bottom line is why would you replace coaches that have just won the state class a tournament and had a fantastic season?? Something had to have been said or done for this to have happened. Even if you disagree with a few board members about coaching the arena or whatever this is a drastic step. ...

Re: Warroad
I may be wrong but I was under the impression that these two guys were parkboard coaches for many years under Eades. Now is the arena board saying it was ok to coach parkboard and do the weekend tourneys and the 50-60 games but its taking too much time to coach at the high school level of 25 games??...

Re: Re: Warroad
I am sure that Warroad is going to try and get a top caliper coach, maybe searching the junior ranks or college assistant. With an arena board calling the shots it will be a tough situation to walk into as you will be a pawn to them. Warroad is hurting themselves when they do stuff like this as they...

Re: BEAVERS
This is great for the Beavers but they have a very long road ahead of them. There is no way they will be able to compete toget the top notch players to come there. Look what the gophers and other high profile teams have to offer players, be it televised games, new arenas, large crowds, etc.etc. But ...

Re: St. Olaf
Well said, sometimes some kids have to face reality and figure out that they aren't going to play d1 or nhl. Here they will get a great education, still play at a very competitive level, and have fun doing it. Hats off to him for making a good decision.

Re: Recruting
The bad thing is the old adage of go out and have some fun hardly pertains anymore. Now it is win, win, win. I know these kids wining state titles are having fun but what percentage is that??
