just to throw this out there, Steve moore was attacked by Todd Bertuzzi because Crawford told his players to hunt him down for cheap shotting Marcus Naslund the night before. I will admit it was a huge cheap shot though. Hockey is a rough sport and there were some obvious shots in the North/Tartan g...

i've only had experience with the ushl showcase and i thought it was a good deal. each team is ran by a ushl coach and each team is represented at the event. It gets a little nasty and if i remember right there were some fights but besides that there is some really good hockey.

as a former fire player i would just like to share a few items. on the 92 fire we were required to carry about 3 to 4 wisconsin players so about 20%. I left my association after playing squirts. The organization is not evil in any way but yes we were hated by many minnesota teams. the main focus of t...

don't use kreatin. it is geared toward sprinters to give them under a minute of pure energy. hockey games are alot longer than a minute. do lots of squats and lower body things to lengthen your stride and build speed.

as a past aaa player i really feel that if you play against an older team you learn more than if you play your own age group. As a minor bantam we took our team to colorado to play in a 91 tournament as 92s. It was rough hockey but it was so much funner than coming back and playing some joke of a sh...

The captain went to hill as a 9th grader. He was in my math class. The other stillwater boy is a very good player and has full eligability. He had a great playoff last year and I hope he has a good time at the Hill.

i think tartan will have an okay year. the bantam team will help to add to the depth and i would expect the sophmores for next season to help the team. i am not saying they will finish on top but they will definately be competitive in every game.

hep is pretty unfair. tartan went 12-1-1 in districts and mv went 11-3 and got the #1 seed for playoffs.

i think east is tough because not only are teams good from all districts but like in d2 you have to be the best team with teams like wb, tartan, mv, and stillwater all fighting for the same spot just to move on to the next round

I feel that either team has a good chance to win. i played edina and felt they had more talent than us but didn't want the win. if edina wants it they might pull out a close win
