Yeah the Falcons continue to let me down.
I am looking forward to the AL/MW game on Thursday, those are the kind of games that makes Minnesota high school hockey so awesome.

West is going to get caught looking past Faribault on Tuesday and the Falcons are going to shock the section. You all know who called it first Tuesday night you can quote this when someone tells us that Faribault beat West.

This section is so awesome compared to the past couple of years. I was suprised that AL is good this year. I don't know what it is they must recruit from Iowa or something but it seems like even when their best players leave they don't lose any scoring. I just hope that West does not win this secti...

Mankato West has a terrible schedule. I think JT Brown would have 150 points already if he played on the same line as Lievermann in the Big 9. The big 9 is way way down this year. And why do people say Mankato State? It's Minnesota State Mankato. Must be the people from the Farming area of the stat...

I was out of the loop and just read all this. This is funny, in the 05-06 season Austin had a very solid team. That was the same season Mankato East went to state. Now those two teams are two of the worst in the state. Sometimes it happens where there are some classes that produce very very few qual...

I am so gald to hear everything is ok. I played with Alex for two years and we played in the same outfield in baseball. He is an amazing kid. He is one of those players that would have skated to the bench no matter what happened to him. We may not be in the family anymore Lars/Dick Larson but we did...

Slapnasty Austin's first line is not as bad as Lourdes or New Prague's third line, your way off on that one. Especially in class A even the top teams do not have that great of depth. And a tip against West's first line just hit them, Anderson is around 5'4, and Litchfield has an inch or two on him, ...

How are they a new team did they get a new coach? They have all the same guys but a different goalie, who, I don't think is as good.

Alex Larson from Faribault had 26 assists as a sophomore, if he can bury this year he could have 50 points. Which would consider him a top Junior in this section. To get in the Lapic arguement I played against him and his size and speed are something else, but you guys are right he is vulnerable to ...

Dominator I think New Prague is good. But because west lost one game 9-2 doesn't mean they won't be a contender this year. They have all their returning scorers back thats usually a good thing.

This section has a lot of evenly matched teams.
And talking about west, if their top guys (lieverman, litchfield, and those other two small guys) got any better they will be a contender.
Also I think anyone who counts out New Prague is foolish.

Sorry i misread it fixxer. But we can agree that we hope AL wins. I do not like Albert Lea at all and I was so glad to have swept them this season but I do hope they represent the big 9 and 1A well.

This is New Prague's year and hats off to them on winning last night, what a game. I think New Prague was kind of caught off guard at how well the Falcons played but the speed of NP's forwards will be too much for Orono. Also the officiating was not that bad at all last night they let just as many c...

If West has so many goalies then why wouldn't one of the Bantam A goalies moving up next year want to go to East? They could start there for 3 years if they are any good.

Yah I don't know what it is with East, they don't seem to be any worse than Austin or the other sub par teams in this section but they play with no life. They have a few good players, but for a team that went to state last year they are pretty brutal. Does anyone know what happened to Mankato East?

I agree with those seedings. Big win for Holy Family, JuiceBox every team does seem to be inconsistent, but thats hockey. The middle seeds seem to be very inconsistent and can look like 2 different teams on any night.

Century played well tonight and Faribault did not, Century sure looked good tonight in front of a nice crowd on both sides. The game was 2-2 after the first period and in the second Century ran away with it scoring 4 times. Congrats to Century on the big nine title

I think the only chances of Century losing in the Big nine are tomorrow night when they host Faribault, or tuesday against AL. If they lose both then Faribault still has a chance to win the conference. Because they swept the tigers. :)

It seems like Albert lea is playing better hockey than early in the season. I think they will give Century a run for their money on tuesday but if they get as many penalties as usual they will not win.
