For your first point, I don't know, I don't think we've seen a public A team in a AA sized area get so much outside talent that they win back to back titles. And I don't think we would. Whereas STA and Breck can offer a family a HUGE incentive in the form of 80k in free tuition, public schools can'...

You have valid points, but I would say that if a significant chunk of the talent from a large city congregates at one school, that school should be considered AA. I suggested an idea a few pages back that might be workable, here it is again: 1. All private schools are placed in AA. 2. All private s...

Since the implication is that private schools in the metro area recruit, does anyone know when Breck's players started attending Breck? Breck goes from pre-kindegarten to HS, so if a majority of their players started attending Breck in 9th grade, that is a good indication of recruiting since their ...

What? Little Falls is a good class A program... STA is the team that is playing out of their league. they are an average program...not the type of program that should have been there as often as they have....their section is weak. your an idiot. the point is that STA is a private team that s...

Alright after reading all of this, I have a few thoughts of my own. I attended a non-metro private school. First I do not think you can just lump all private schools together. Every school will have different amounts of funding and spend they're money differently (putting it into academic resources,...

This game should be a 5-2 SCC win, unless the northern refs give the SCC goalie a 10 minute misconduct or something absolutely crazy like that. Then, who knows, anything could happen. Haha Nice reference to the game last year at the decc, still a little bitter i see but i got a laugh. SCC takes thi...

The DM fans never chanted "overrated" and i bet that if SCC would have won they would have chanted "seasons over" too, its just what high school fan sections do. The DM fans in general are not arrogant and classless, there just seem to be a few on this forum. I know for a fact t...

Hess kept them in it at all tonight, without him next year it will be tough for them. First off Congrats DM on a good game and state tournament birth Despite 4 goals on him (and an EN) that might be the best ive seen Hess play for all the quality chances they had. Marshall played very well and had ...

SCC would be on the same mission. They are hungry for the X and won't be just satisfied to get there. SCC would not want to disappoint which they did the last time at the X with their measly performance in '04.

schmidt played pretty good but not his best. he ripped a pair of rockets in the first for his 2 goals and i think he had an assist or two. it exciting to watch him everytime he touches the puck.

i wasnt taking anything away from denfeld. i havent seen them play so i dont know what they look like.i just know that scc didnt bring it but if they want to be a top contender they need to bring it every night. i hope there will be a playoff rematch.

denfeld is fast . i was there and scc's defense was getting burned and playing way toooo aggressive against denfelds speed. im not trying to take anything away from denfeld but i think the main factor in this game was hess' 10 min misconduct. the backup wasnt ready for a game like this and this real...
