The kid's an absolute stud. He's only going to keep getting stronger and he'll be fun to watch next year. Unfortunately I think that will be his last year at Blaine. He will be one of the top forwards in the state next year, if not the best.

Re: Leddy

If Molennar (sp.) sticks around there should hardly be a drop off at the blue line with some talented JV kids filling in. I think EP will win it all two more years in a row and then drop off the face of the earth. As for sticking around, Molennar should be smart enough to learn a good lesson from N...

Obviously it's only one game so who knows but I would take last years Hill squad without a doubt. No disrespect to EP but Hill took it to some great teams last year during their run and they just about knocked off EP this year minus 4 top players. Hill's performance last year in the tourney impress...

Dude, really? They clearly made the correct call after the replay. You can't really argue with that kind of goalie interference. Congrats EP

Anyone go to the game this afternoon? Sounds like Blaine really controlled the play.

Congrats to Blaine on another great season. Hopefully the 5th time will be a charm next year! :D

Wow, really unfortunate game that got away for the Bengals. Obviously played a great 1st period and then they appeared to tighten up and try to sit on that lead. Obviously that 2nd goal was really unfortunate but that's how it goes sometimes. Oh well, the way things have been going we will be here a...

those sections are either 206 or 216. they mostly go for public schools and always chant against private. I heard those chants tonight, they were great. So it wasn't a school up there? Just a bunch of kids? I know that the Blaine fans were in the corner. I usually don't like these kids, but man, th...

Re: Cretin vs. Moorhead

How do you guys think the two feel good stories of this years tourney will do when they faceoff tomorrow? If Walsh can preform like he did tonight tomorrow watch for cretin to sneak by I'm thinking a close one 2-1 CDH I don't think he was very impressive. The 2 goals he did let in were rather weak....

i will agree with you there, but saying you want to get rid of a whole section, that's brutal! You have to agree with me, if you're a neutral fan, if you go to Blaine you will totally disagree, that century and blaine were very even throughout the first period. century gave up a weak goal at the en...

Eagles 2

Harper will stone wall Mr. Hockey enough times to pull it out. Should be an awesome game though, can't wait.

Haha, if the Blaine players have this kind of cockiness I'll enjoy watching them get dismantled by Century. Century isn't a bad team in any way, and given that, they can upset teams when you don't come to play with their defensive prowess. Ask Duluth East? Dismantled? You can't be serious....Duluth...

With their decisive win against Centennial, Blaine will be come out flying with a lot of confidence. Didn't Blaine beat Centennial 6-1 last year in the section championship? What was the score of their game against Roseau? (8-2) How did Roseau do the rest of the tournament? (0-2 and outscored 11-3)...

Folks, there are arguments on both sides for these types of issues as to why or when a player should leave. In my opinion, Ness had nothing to gain by staying in Roseau. MOST juniors in high school, that leave school, are going to the USHL, or NAHL, with the intent on getting a D1 scholarship. Ness...

I bet the majority of the Cretin supporters haven't seen East play. Just wait and see how amazing our defense is.. It does appear he's gotten stronger as the year has gone on and obviously his play is peaking at the right time. Great to see for the Bengals as it gives them a second big time scoring threat. If he keeps this scoring up we may hear some Spehar comparisons....too soon?
