What was their pre-season ranking? I think if they were a top ten team then Jabs had very little to do with it. The injury was and is a tragedy, but so is the fallout of all the rule changes. My question is what happens the next time a kid tragically gets hurt on a clean hit will they do away with c...

I really am beginning to understand why all of the northern teams are so weak and frustrated with teams like STA, because their parents/relatives who post on this site are soft and support making excuses rather than working harder to beat these tough teams. You are funny you chose my post to to res...

Everybody wants to praise the Vanelli's (sp) for what a great job they do as coaches, I am not going to take that away. I will say this, now if you really want to see what you can do move up to where you belong not based off your student population, but based off the ability of your program. Now if...

As a Rogers fan and a little upset about getting ousted every year by H-town, Rogers can hold their head's high knowing that they lost to the best public A school each of the last 3 years. I guess that takes a little sting away as a fan, but i am sure a small consolation to the coaches and players f...

there are only 2 real teams that i think can knock off hermantown that are in the tournament, sadly they will be in the other half of the bracket and will have to go the distance before we get to see hermantown actually get challenged for the first time year, im proud of them for going undefeated b...

ok would you be happier if I said Rogers was probably 2nd best next to your beloved H-town. Rogers was a damn good team that set the state record for most shutouts in a season, while giving up only 39 goals against. What is the state record? Is this fact or fiction? Please state facts. http://www.m...

As much as it hurts congrats to H-town, it says a lot about a community that puts a team of such high caliber together year in and year out. I would also be remiss if I did not recognize my team though, in it's short existance it has been to 2 section finals and I believe all years except one have ...

Having jurisdiction over what happens with in the state I guess I am fine with it is out of the state that bothers me. For instance a kid leaves to go play at let say russel stover or honey baked, it doesnt work out so he comes back to MN. Problem is they have to sit out. IMO if a kid leaves the sta...

Not bad, but how do you make the groups? Do you set it up by region or by random draw? Do you mix it with 2 northern mid-state and 2 southern minnesota teams? My thought process was a little different and that was a 2 year rating scheme to avoid stacked sections. Take a teams average ranking over a ...

Rogers can't stay out of the penalty box. It should have cost them against St Cloud. Hermantown will not go 0-6 on the powere play. Rogers will definetly have a harder time staying out of the box playing in H-town's backyard. Rogers actually won the special teams stat in the 1st game 100% PK and 33...

what part was a fluke Rogers being 2-3 on the PP along with being 4-4 on the PK. Yes that PK included two 5 minute majors, however one was cut short because cathedral took a penalty due to the forechecking of Rogers PK. Even if it was a fluke it gives Rogers home ice for the game in sections. I am ...

Rogers top 6 players have a combined point total of 219 in the regular season H-town's top 6 + 214. The biggest difference is Rogers does not have that one stand out player scoring a majority of the points like H-Town does. Now I would think that would make Rogers a more dynamic and difficult team t...
