Moorhead gave up 3 goals in the first period. Looked like it might be a romp but they seemed to get their legs back and made it a game. Got it to 3-2 before Wayzata scored late in the 3rd period.

Bemidji defeated Elk River 6-2 and Moorhead beat Buffalo 8-0. All the games are being played in Buffalo.

Bemidji beat Moorhead 4-2. Moorhead held a 2-1 lead after 2 periods. Looked like Moorhead was only skating 9 players most of the game and kind of ran out of gas.

I have heard that this Osborn girls family moved to Bemidji this summer. Saw her play for Crookston, a pretty good goaltender. But a friend of mine from up north says she wasn't the only girl to move to Bemidji this year. If this is true who are the girls and where did they come from? Just curious.
