Can anyone fill me in on this one. Besides a player being sick, how can you miss the first day of tryouts but come to the second day? Then still have a chance to make the team. If you were applying for a position in anything else it would be unacceptable. So how does that work? When you have dedicat...

Accountable

The question I have is who should be held accountable? It has to start somewhere when kids are getting hurt because of illegal offenses. We all know there are laws and rules in place to protect us. Why should it be any different in sports. If the rules are broken you are punished and held accountabl...

You under estimate Silver Bay. They may be small bet they are strong. They have talented girls on the team. Glad they showed up ready to put up a good game.

When buying hockey skates I would not worry about the brand. I would buy the skate that fits your foot. My daughter does wear the Easton S15 and she loves them. Easton skates fit her feet better then any other brand. We have never had a problem with them and they hold up great. She has never had bli...

Quick Skills Camp

Sounds great, to bad it falls on the same week the Christian Athlete Hockey Camp is held in Soldotna Alaska. Thats the hard part with summer camps. There are so many to choose from and most of the time they end up on the same week as other camps. I guess research and personal preference comes into p...

OK hockeyon, or should I say clueless, the box scores say that the 1st line including silver bays captains were on the ice for the third period in GRG's Jv game against Silverbay and factored in on three goals. If you are not knowledgable on hockey facts, do not respond to a legitimate hockey forum...

Just Grand Rapids and Greenway make up GRG i think. I heard that when their sr. golie let in a bunch of goals in that jv game silver bay played their varsity 1st line in the third period and thatswhen they got all of there goals. Pretty poor way to win if you ask me. Sorry Jebado You have it wrong ...

Silver Bay vs GRG

Bella01, were we both at the same game? Seems to me the penalties were in GRG favor most of the game. Silver Bay skated hard and played hard right along with GRG. The only difference was SB's goalie (Lexi) was on her game. The Bay has a good team with a great group of girls. Why can't you give them ...

How about Blake has already had 3 scrimmages and probably skates year round. Silver Bay girls blades hit the ice on Oct. 31 with one scrimmage the weekend before their first game.
