Darn
Dang!!! No Cambridge vs Princeton game this year. The battle for the all mighty Blazing Blades Trophy. I guess I will have to be forced to watch Duluth East versus Centennial. I bet more people will be in the stands for the Bluejackets and Tigers game than the Greyhounds and Cougars. Well actually t...

Benik
Joey is going back to play for the Saint Francis Fighting Saints and break every scoring record that they have. He will be returning to the Owls who play in Isanti after the high school season. He had a great final game before leaving for three months as he scored two and chipped in an assist last S...

Cambridge-Isanti Hockey Improving???
I heard that they just won the Showcase Spring League. I guess they beat Osseo, Elk River, and Anoka. They also crushed Rogers. Is this team really going to be this strong in the winter?

Insurance
When I brought a team into Showcase a few years back I was told that they have pretty much the same insurance policy as USA Hockey. Once I turned in my roster the players and coaches were covered. Not much however, just like USA Hockey it is only secondary coverage.

The other high school in Bloomington
I remember in the basketball state tournament a few years back when a high school boy raised a sign that said "BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY, THE OTHER HIGH SCHOOL IN BLOOMINGTON!!!" And I laughed by butt off. Now that is a funny sign. Good luck to the Eagles. OUT!!!

The Zephyrs really came to play. They out-shot the Eagles something like 21-4 in the first period and had a 2-0 lead after one. Their third goal was an empty netter. The second and third periods were even. The super freshman Marshall scored his first ever high school goal in the game. He is going to...

Your team is not that good!!! Buffalo was tied in the second period with Cambridge 1-1 until a questionable penalty shot was called against Cambridge. It wasn't a penalty shot from what I was told and the Cambridge coaches went nuts. Well anyways the ref then gave Cambridge a bench penalty which kil...

Mora 4- Spring Lake Park 2
How did the Mustangs defeat the Panthers? I thought Spring Lake Park was pretty good this year. Is Mora getting better? What conference is Mora in? I don't think they are in the Rum River anymore as I don't think there is a Rum River Conference anymore.

The Eagles will be fine
I believe they had a couple of their better players out because they were winning the Prep Bowl the week before. I think they will be back ironically against Mahtomedi this Thursday at Parade Ice Gardens. Not too many A schools would have the guts to go and play the number one AA school in the state...

Cambridge-Princeton
You can not beat the battle for the Rusty Skates Trophy when Cambridge plays Princeton. There were so many people in the arena one year in Princeton they turned off the heat. At one time Cambridge used Princeton Arena as their home rink but wanted a home ice advantage when the played the Tigers. For...

Why
Why would anyone want to go to Philadelphia and whoop up on those girls when the competition is better here in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Winnipeg, Chicago and Thunder Bay. Any tournament in any of these towns will be better competion than flying to Philadelphia.

Detroit Guy
The Detroit guy is right. We think they envy us but they don't. And that is from Hockey Town. We should be happy that we are in the top five. I think we are anyways. Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and New York are probably the five best hockey states. Alaska is right up there as well.

Hey Elliott
I like our High School Hockey Tournament although it is nothing like it was in the 70's and 80's. How come there are not as many high level Minnesota players out there compared to other states. One of the USA teams had as many players from Georgia, Florida, and Texas I believe than Minnesota and one...

How can we be the envy of the other states?
How can we be the envy when none of our winter teams can compete in a National tournament at the end of the year??? Since some of our players are too old at every level the teams can not travel to a National Tournament. I believe if it is hosted by a Minnesota team they can participate. A friend and...

I would like to state that my brothers baby boy that is expected to be born in January has to be the best 2008 hockey player in the state of Minnesota as of right now. You probably can not argue with that!!! Go get em Riley!!!

They are squirts
Being squirts, they shouldn't be labeled the Next one. I have witnessed many squirts that could skate circles around others. There are many squirts that can score like crazy!!! It is nuts to put a name on a good squirt unless his name is WAYNE GRETZKY. Gretzky scored something like 311 goals in 50 g...

I talked to him plenty during the world junior tournament a few years back at T. R. Falls. Gossip probably at the time but I knew that he was not happy at the time with Minnesota Hockey. I do like the rivalries also but don't you think that the Blades vs Machine is a rivalry? YES!!! And at a higher ...

Elliott...WRONG
I personally talked to the main man at North Dakota Hockey (JACK) three years ago and he told me that they wanted to pull out of the Minnkota District as soon as they could. Also, he said the birth year thing was a big reason for it. He told me that they were going to talk to South Dakota and I gues...
