Frustration doesn't have to lead to a brawl. This seems to be a common occurance for West. Get frustrated..start fights. Maybe someone (coach) needs to get a better handle on the situation. And don't use the "career over" excuse. Everyone's career ends at some point. I didn't see a fight ...

I agree, it should be a great tourney. I haven't seen RF, so I can't speak for them. I give Far. the edge of the team's I have seen, they have more depth. I heard New Ulm beat Redwood Falls? if this is true, if Mankato won out getting all of their FPP, wouldn't they win the West, with Mankato having only lost one or two FPP, and Redwood losing four?

Albert Lea, Fairbo, New Prague, Owatonna, Mankato, and Redwood Falls are all pretty much equal teams, and have all battled to close games...It's going to depend on whose hot, whose not, and who has the goaltending and consitincey to win, when they need to... BTW, I believe Paulsky had like 10 of RF ...

Well, Redwood has one kid whose pretty good, and a ew others, but they are not that good...They did beat Mankato 8-5, with 2 ENG...It will be interesting to see when they have their rematch next week or whenever...Owatonna and Mankato played to a 1-1 tie on friday night...Mankato beat Albert Lea 4-3...

I don't know, it really seems up for grabs..I don't think New Prague is as strong as many thought they would be...they are however, a very solid team..

West and Albert Lea are the top two teams, and Mankato West will end up going to state. There are my predicitons. It's going to be interesting when West and albert Lew play each other...definatly going to be some good hockey...and I can assure everyone that West will be well-coaced by mr essay.

How did Mankato end up in the Shakopee Tournament? They played Shakopee after Washburn and then either New Prague or Tartan.
