Tavis McMillan and Troy Ward, both all-time undefeated in regular season games. I thought somebody said that Ward bailed already. If that's true, I would view him as winless and probably not one of the state's best! Ward probably would have been up there this year but bailed to go to t...

My only arguement is that while players sticks and skates and equipment has gotten better, so has goaltenders. Goaltenders equipment has gotten so much lighter, pads have been created with different materials to deaden rebounds, and the break in time for gloves is a lot less, much like players glov...

Re: Cleaning hockey gear - please don't laugh at me
Okay, I need to know if there is any validity to this. We have a pool and my wife wants to take my gear and my son's and soak it in the water and let it sun dry. She says that some hockey moms told her the chlorine kills the odor-causing bacteria. Anyone hear this? Should I let her do it? Most of u...

Lapic will go d1 for sure he has good size, speed, hands, and not to mention he works harder than anyone else on and off the ice. I will even go so far as to say that he is the most dedicated hs hockey player in the state. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. I agree even though i am from new prague, that would...

Hey I just wanted to start a discussion about the overdrive blade system for goaltenders. Here is the website check it out. www.overdriveblade.com It is Illegal for goaltenders to use this in USA hockey, NHL, High School. It is only legal in the Canadian Hockey League.. My point to make this innovat...

Glove..... Colin did a decent job in the varsity starts he's had the last couple of years. I think he'll do fine. He might have played more last year except the third goalie in the program quit and they played the second part of the season with only two goalies, so Colin played JV Otherwise, it's u...

Re: Matt Arentz....Best Freshman in the State?
This Lakeville North kid is a 6'1" 15 yr old that will be playing for the gophs in about 3-4 years!! He controls the game like a senior and has phenominal talent! All i am saying is remember the kids name and keep an eye on him, he's got 3 years of varsity play left! Stauber...DeBus...Hauser.....

i think that fighting is one of the key aspects of the game. it draws crowds. there are some people that are like i dont really like hockey, but i will go to a game to see a fight. i would say that 75 percent of the game is nice plays and playmakers. the other 25% is people like boogaard making a st...
