First off, anyone in their right mind knows it doesn't matter if one team is ranked 3rd in state and the other is ranked 20th - school rivalry games ALWAYS are heated battles and come down to the wire. I'm with Get Some on this one, sad to say, but ahhh the Mound Orono games in the last couple year...

a ton of good chances but didn't convert - Persian had 2 breakaways, Skoog had 1 and Barnum had 2 or 3 point blank opportunities.
BARNUM CAN NOT BURY!!! Get this kid a shovel.

Well Badger, I think that the scores of those last 5 games don't tell the whole story. If you recall the games were much closer than the scores made it seem to be. Holy Family has really given Orono some of their tougher games the past couple of years. If it wasn't for some outstanding goal tending,...

Oh I remember that. But a one handed backhand shot!!!! that just can't go in. I also remember watching even a worse play in OT though, I can't remember who it was, but someone on Orono made a CIP, aka cross ice pass, from his own goal line and it got picked off and STA scored to win the game.

Badger07 I highly doubt McMahon would have started over Peterson last year or even Wilson this year I don't know Badger, I think the only reason Peterson was starting was because he was all they had. I think that Orono would have been very happy if McMahon would have stayed. I watched him play a few...

WELL since this is a big rival game i think the celebrations after the goals are what makes it fun. This is one of the only games of the year for both these teams that the stands are full. The celebrations are all in good fun. Although i do think that at the end of the game you should not jersey pul...

How did Matson get registered for the Orono youth program if he lives in the Mound school district?
I think, he open and rolled for school in like 1st grade cuz Mound school system is not the best.

Tonka Todd Weisjahn was the best coach orono had in a while wow you do not know what you are talking about. ya he was an alright coach but his first year of hockey at orono he had the best team ever. a monkey could have sat on the bench and that team would have made it to state. then he left after t...

The assists guy is one i would love on my team. You always need someone to make the team good. If you get 50 assist your making the players around you better.

Peterson's stats vs AA teams and ranked A teams:
Minutes GAA S%
462 3.75 .8917
um those S% are not very different.
