The only way I can see Moorhead beating Edina is if Edina has a huge let down after knocking off Jefferson, which really wouldn't be that far fetched, but I have high doubts that it happens... just my 2 cents on how I could see the upset happening.

Edina Vs. Benilde may not seem like a big rivalry but it is because one it is a public vs. private school showdown and also, due to the fact that the majority of kids know kids from the other team. EP is by far Edina's biggest rival. You couldn't be more wrong, I guarantee if you ask any Edina play...

Osseo is one of those teams that always seems to creep under the radar. They recently knocked off Elk River, Centennial, and Champlin Park... It really all comes down to whether or not Osseo's goaltender can play a solid game and allow his team a chance.

I understand that there really is nothing the section can do about moving it because of the money issue... but saying DE doesn't benefit from it is a crock... Saying they only played "x" amount of games there and so on and it isn't their regular season rink... It's like having the section ...

The southern teams can have an argument when they prove themselves within this section. For now, 16 of the 17 teams to win this one since its inception are northern. Otherwise, why bother scheduling something that forces the teams that are almost always involved to drive 150 miles out of their way?...
