Congratulations to Nick Leddy!

The complaining is really tiring!

Everyone of the finalists would have been deserving. Over the years the Gophers usually get the cream of the crop so it's no wonder they would have more winners.

Actually you can lose in districts and still qualify for regions. Two teams also come out of a regions, so you can lose there as well. To compare bantams to high school is silly. Isn't districts much like sections? District 10 much like the NWSC and then regions puts some of the best teams in the st...

It is easier because you can lose games in a bantams at both districts and regions and still get to state. In high school one bad night, or hot goalie and it's over. There is a HUGE difference! I am just referring to the comment that it is easier to get a state berth at Bantams than high school. Not...

It is apples and oranges. Look at the results. Centennial is the ONLY team to even make to the finals after winning the state bantam title. Just compare 96 bantams to 99 high school and so on. 1996 at Edina..............................................(C) Duluth East...............................(...

I like the coach but this was an easy decision. The offense was much greater than minor consumption or smoking. Most coaches would have done the same thing.

OK, I think I understand a little now. Thanks for your input and for that list of Champioship games. I guess I didn't even realize that they were that good (Bantams). So back to the question. What's going on? Maybe they have just have been over rated. There is a lot of parity at the high school lev...

They have done very well at the high school level. They have been consistently one of the better AA teams for a number of years now. Making it to state in HS is a lot different than bantams. Two teams come out of a bantam region meaning you can lose games. Furthermore, kids develop at different time...

What happens in bantams has little to nothing to do with what happens in high school. In bantams you can rely on a handful of players and there is basically one age group playing. In bantams you can lose games in districts and regionals and still make it to state. High school is a totally different ...

Centennial 4 Hill Murray 1

Centennial takes care of Hill Murray.

Pitlick has 3 pts. and the young goalie redeems himself after two subpar performances.

AHA should roll.

WBL beat Centennial but Centennial is still the better team.

Today they beat STA 6-3 outshooting them 2-1 while being shorthanded numerous times.

Centennial would beat WBL 80% of the time, but just not yesterday.

Centennial controlled the first 10 minutes of the game as WBL only had 1 shot and it went in. WBL capitalized on their opportunities and got the win. WBL scored a flurry of goals in the second that sealed the deal. The third period was all Centennial. I believe Centennial would beat them 8 out of 10...

Secondly, I wasn't at the game on Saturday, so it would be irresponsible of me to comment on it. Third, congratulations on the win, and good luck the rest of the way! carpenterguy quote...

So far Jefferson is a big surprise!

The biggest disappointment has to be Centennial at this point. All 3 classes were in the state bantam championship. I do believe they will turn it around when it counts the most.

Edina- if they wake up, look out 4. STA- One of the most well Rounded teams I have seen all Season 5. Hill-Murray- G...

Jefferson- Proved themselves in Grand Forks, and mostly sophomores? 5. Edina- If thee waketh up, Thy will crush all 6. Benilde-...

These kids have had some great battles over the years. Edina's seniors beat Centennial's seniors 1-0 in the state bantam final. Centennial's juniors beat Edina's juniors 5-3 in the state bantam final. Right now Centennial is playing well below expectations. If they show up it could be a great battle...
