Re: A Traveling Trophy/Cup

You know there is a traveling trophy for the high school champions. It was in East Grand Forks last week or couple weeks ago each of the kids gets to do what they want Meet the Eveleth Trophy 🏆 or Cup. https://history.vintagemnhockey.com/page/show/7843331-the-curious-and-real-history-of-eveleth-tro...

Any idea who is heading to Michigan, rather than playing HS hockey?

And now two. One got a difficult vibe from the AD and withdrew.

I don't think you can. Placing STMA in 8, while Buffalo and Rogers go to 6 is strange. Can't go to/from either without going through STMA.

Re: Coaching Changes

Is there still a Saterdalen on the EP team. Tom wasn't very supportive of his heir at Jefferson and both he and Jeff have run out a few coaches at EP between youth and HS If that’s the case maybe Sats and Jeff need to lace up the skates again. Harder to be part of the solution than it is contributi...

Re: Roseau Staying In Class A Next Year?

Looking the MSHSL Data St Louis Park is the cutoff for AA everyone below them will be in A. I have been told Sartell is staying in AA because the enrollment will bump them back into looking at two years down the road. Below is My Class A Section projections reminder they want to create eight sectio...

Re: Roseau Staying In Class A Next Year?

How is Willmar not with Sauk, St Cloud and River Lakes? All of them are together then you have willmar has to drive through all those towns to get to there section opponents🤔🤔🤔 If Willmar is driving through St. Cloud or Sauk Rapids to get to their Section 6 opponents, they are putting extra miles o...

Re: ‘25 State Tourney Announcers

If it is Gorg for AA, I think it’s a great way to pass the baton from Louie. He is prepared, knowledgeable, kind, well-respected and has a great sense of humor. A true ambassador to the game. According to Lou on KFAN yesterday they are going to use Gorg, Parrish and Clymer to take his spot. Appropr...

First time ever the #2 seed has lost in the quarterfinals in girls tourney history (BOTH classes) Rosemount with an impressive upset over Centennial/SLP. The #1 seed is now the loan seed to never have lost a first round game in girls tourney history. Also for comparison #3 seed is (29-4 all time in...

Re: 2024-25 Section 8A

Hard to argue with your rankings and thank you for the in-depth assessment of Section 8A. East Grand Forks should be primed for a return to St. Paul, but in this Section its usually close at the end of the year. Would be nice to see Detroit Lakes and Crookston take that next step in to pushing for a...

There usually are multiple sides, but only one set of facts. If only one allegation is true, that should have been enough for a fresh start for the program.

IYKYK, this isn’t a hill worth defending.
