east bantams
Just curious how many of the east bantams will be playing for Duluth Marshall. Any word of Fairchild going to Shattuck?

Loken
Both Maida and Geissler were also honorable mention all-state and Geissler was first team LSC all-conference. Loken had a nice year, but the Duluth paper chose the correct two goalies. Check the stats. Besides, Loken is a jr. so he would have to be the next Patrick Roy to be picked over these kids. ...

You are right on! Every year I raise an eyebrow when these picks are announced, but this year takes the cake. No pun intended. Let's just say there was more than one player that got royally hosed over. It's time for Kernz & Co. to rethink this before it becomes an absolute joke. Why are the rost...

related?
The way Lee constantly comments on the "new" coaching staff and has yet to give them much credit, it makes me wonder if Randolph happens to be a cousin or something. Kidding!

Want to see a stop to running the goalie? Put the eight inch pegs in the ice like the old days. Most of the speedy forwards will suddenly think twice when faced with a possible broken leg, ribs, etc.

SCC is darn luckey the section title game was not officiated like the games at state. It was obvious their " hold and tackle" style of hockey would not be tolerated in St. Paul. If not for some questionable officiating, SCC would not have had the opportunity to go two and out.

sportsmanship
Words can not express the pride I felt last night at the end of the game for BOTH teams. DM had no temper tantrums, stick-breaking, or water bottle throwing like I witnessed the night before in the 7A game. (You can figure out the team.) SCC had the expected celebration, but within about 30 seconds ...

the truth
OK, here's the real poop. Nobody associated with DM is overconfident about this game. They are working EXTREMELY hard to acheive the goal put before them at the beginning of the year. It will no doubt be a hard fought contest. I still lean toward DM winning, but who knows?

By the way, the onl...

prediction
Hey Rinkrodent, here's my prediction: DM..6 SCC..2
By the way, I never said you don't know anything about hockey. You just don't know good hockey!!! SCC is going to pay for their pushover schedule. I also predict they will roll over after they fall behind by 3. QUIT!

SCC/DM
It's easy to tell where most of you experts live : south of Barnum on I35. Anyone that sincerely gives SCC a chance has to explain to me how a putrid squad like Duluth Central could almost beat them at their place. If SCC even stands a chance, they have to score at least four goals. Frankly, that's ...

There is no way PC even makes this a game. The upset will be in Mora or possibly even St. Cloud! Go Duluth!

I think the goalies are getting a bad rap by you experts, especially MKMB. Did you ever notice that marshall's forwards hardly ever backcheck? They give up more odd man rushes than any team I've seen this year. Geissler is noted for starting the season out slow due to football season running into no...
