It would be a disaster for Maple Grove. They would be left with one sheet of ice that they have very little control of. Both Osseo and BP already have two sheets of their own. Combining would have to be based on other needs. <p></p><i></i>

Anybody get a load of the EP fans during their loss to Wayzata. Major profanity by at least a dozen different fans. Several outright threatened the officials at the end of the game. I don't think BP needs osseo's ice either. But some of the other one rink groups do. <br><br>Bp / osseo merger has little chance. Mainly because it isn't necessary. Osseo kicks out competive teams. BP has plenty of ice along with their fund raising might. <p></p><i></i>

I don't think the districts or maha have any way to force a merger on any association that doesn't want to merge. A lot of people want osseo to merge with them. The motive for some might be to get at their two sheets of ice. Also be aware that a third of BP's kids were forced to move to osseo by D3 ...
