Re: orono????????
Settle Hockeystud - Read and understand. I am happy that the player from Orono made the team and please understand that I am not saying that he did not deserve to make the team. Any player that has more than 11 points in a select camp deserves consideration.

My only point is that it is my opi...

Re: SELECT 15 NATIONAL TEAM FINAL ROSTER
Great responses guys. It is good to have an opinion and those opinions should be valued. Politics play a bigger role in sports theses days. If it were not for politics, some players may not be given a chance to show their skills.

Regarding the comment of a dad complaining that their kid was o...

Re: SELECT 15 NATIONAL TEAM FINAL ROSTER
Thanks for the response. Fortunately, I watched many of the games and have been involved in the selection process before. A few players who were left off the list had avery good camp, but were not selected. Working hard does pay off, but leaving players off the final selection like Horstman, Lee and...

Re: SELECT 15 NATIONAL TEAM FINAL ROSTER
Ooops. Seems as though the selection committee made a few errors. I don't see Polacek, Lee, Reber, Reagan, McMahon, or Horstman on the select 15 list. Must be a mistake.

Think about it guys. At least the Orono HS coach chose one of his Orono A Bantam players; it shows that politics never play...

Re: NDTP'ers should not be allowed in!
I guess that we need to implement a system that is completely fair to all competitors. In fact, lets have a state tournament and give trophies and medals to all team and players that participate.

Guys, the point of a Select Team is that they are based on picking the top players in the state, ...

Re: Hard Rain's Fallin' on Class AA today by SS
I have an idea - lets make a 16 team state tournament comprised of A and AA teams. Also, lets force the AA and A schools to play each other during the season to get a good read on who is beating whom. My guess is that, maybe, one or two A teams would make it past the second round of a larger tournam...

Re: origin
Calling all coaches. Lets find out what community this complaint came from, go in and romp and have all players on the ice high five as a sign of team unity. Maybe this upset fan can also get the parents to stop cheering for the team when they score as well - lets take the emotion out of the game? M...

Re: Who are the top A Bantam coaches in MN?
I agree that Scott Hambly is probably the top A Bantam coach. He is the godfather of youth hockey and is very well respected.

Regarding Hendrichs going to Jefferson, well he has a great job at EP and he would probably not enjoy coaching at Jefferson. The baby blue is a tough organization to c...
