Jesse has both kids out there now - Dylan and Henry. I think Dylan is playing U15/U16. And Nate DeMars has his two boys there now as well. Both U16?
All part of the Mahtomedi Mass Exodus....

Re: GAMES TUESDAY 11-26-24
Largely agreed on all fronts. I’d like to see them move to AA. There’s a longstanding debate in the community as well - what would a move to AA do to their retention efforts? With multiple higher end players departing high school hockey early, and several more making contributions on the HM roster, ...

Re: GAMES TUESDAY 11-26-24
I'm afraid it's going to be a long, tough year for Maht. Too many of their best players have chosen to play elsewhere. Definitely a down year or two while they work to try and hang on to the next wave of kids coming up...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
No need to pipe down. The board is for banter and I welcome your opinion. If it was a sounding board of exact same opinions I wouldn't be on here. I do believe, rather strongly, that Hill has as much of a claim to community hockey as the next, and as I said above, maybe more. But there will always ...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
Steal away, my good man! That was my response, many years ago, to the unrelenting taunts about community and neighborhood hockey and how schools like Hill destroy that. If they paid any attention, they'd know that Hill has generation after generation that not only go to school there but play hockey...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
Witty taunt by Hill fans in the closing moments: "WHERE'S your SEA-son?" I'm hoping they've got severe robust "WHERE'S your CIT-ies?" ready for Gentry on Friday. I had a Twitter reply this past week where I blatantly stole the "The City of Hill-Murray is beautiful this time...

A bright future indeed - with some strong Mahtomedi current and future talent. The Sampair cousins have been impactful, and there's another on the way. Lang is making an impression as a freshman. A. Johnson and J. Johnson hoping to contribute soon. The DeMars brothers incoming as well. All good thin...

Re: The Gentry Academy Thread
If you look at Mahtomedi's roster this year and the past few years, they also have players from several communities. So nice try with the blaming because they are private. A top program private or public, in both A and AA don't need to recruit. Players show up because they want to be a part of a wi...
