I imagine this makes the Spuds the clear favorites in 8AA and gives them a decent chance to repeat.

I didn’t say for both classes. Top 32 make the playoffs. Final 8 make the X. That’s it. Get away from AA and A. Would have a higher probability of your best 8 teams making it. Would there be upsets?
