St.Francis has some nice players at the very top of their lineup and a great goalie that will steal them some games (grand rapids), they have potential but also have a long way to go if they want to make some noise in playoffs. Just my take. Sorry, but I just dont see St Francis making much noise i...

I believe he is from Centennial. Anyone know why Willie Brown is out?

Thanks Puck..I wonder how many teams are dumping the M11's in favor of something new this year.
Not sure, but I know M11's are not very popular among most players.

BSM - the new HM. Tough to say since HM finished 2nd at the tourney, but I agree with your point that BSM is the new "go-to" private school in the metro. Kind of how AHA was always a contender, but has been slowly falling off the map and haven't made a tourney appearance since their Champ...

Will they be any good is the real question. If they aren't people won't care, but if they are...it could get ugly.

Some are worse than others, the Luther and Velocity aren't that bad, but the Starkey and TCF ones are pretty ugly.

Is there anyone at benilde that can challenge sprang for the starting role? I know they have solid jv goalies and some good bantams, but I don't know how close they are to sprang

Does Benilde have another quality goalie to fill his shoes this season? Seems they have had several in the past, I am just not sure who the upcoming kids are @ BSM.[/quote] I'm not 100% sure on this but I think the A bantam goalies from St.Louis park and Rosemont (not sure on names, but its not Klae...

Looks like Christiano Versich is second in scoring after two games with 2 goals and 3 assists. Also Tom Novak from STA is tied with eight others with 4 points.

I think JV vs Bantams as a 9th grader really depends on the players specific situation, if a player is on a weak bantam A team and can enter a strong high school program then they should play JV, also if they are unhappy with the coach or something like that. As far as peewees vs bantams I think tha...

I'm not trying to knock Pitlick, he is a great player and has a good chance of going to new york just saying that his size does hurt him sometimes.

This doesn't surprise me, Lambrecht is a great playmaker. He is small, but he is thicker than someone like a pitlick so he can't get knocked off the puck as easily.

Patterson might have looked tired cause it was a 2 on 1 warm up drill from practice going on all night. Hats off to them. Great season! Yesterday showed some of these guys arent ready to leave. If they all come back it should be a decent year. So goalie...all 2 on 1 goals, deflections, and poor def...

That defensive cre left patterson out to dry. Three of the first four goals were two on one slam dunks. How do you blame the goalie? The 5th goal was a slam dunk. The 6th goal was a deflection by our own defenseman. The only goal that could possibly go on Patterson was a snipe on the power play that...

Patterson looks tired. He hasn't played as well the past three or four weeks. Seems to be fighting the puck and leaving a lot more rebounds than he did earlier in the year. Did the Don over play him this year? I don't see the Gophers having much success in the NCAA's without strong goaltending from...
