Duluth

Everyone seems to be overlooking duluth in there rankings. Duluth has been playing very good hockey and have beat many of the teams ranked above them. They beat Eden Prairie in a great game(it could have gone either way). They have also beat Grand Rapids 2 out of 3 times, Minnetonka, Eagan, Blooming...

Rink situation

The reason it is taking so long has a lot to do with money and location. The rink they are going to put up is supposidely going to be very large from what i hear. These kinds of things take time... i would say Fryberger has the nicest ice that the duluth team plays on but the nicest facilities would...

duluth vs. eden prairie

EP did outshoot duluth by a very large margin and they played very well. The game definetely could have gone either way but since the duluth team has added a couple players and are getting better every day. I would expect they will be the first seed in the north and make a solid run at state.
</p...

Duluth

I think duluth is the top team in the North. Can anyone else say they have beat EP. Duluth upset EP in the Minnestonka tournament and they finished 2nd in the Spirit of Duluth. Duluth did fall to grand rapids early in the season but since they are a completely different team. I don't know much about...

state

I don't understand why everyone is counting Duluth out of the competition. They lost to Grand Rapids but it was before they got there team together. Now they have a great goalie and have added some depth. I see them as the favorite in the North seeing as they took second in the Spirit of Duluth tour...

Re: Minnetonka Tournament

SHAW was unbelievable... no disrespect and i think they would agree they didn't belong in this tournament. They dominated every game and embarassed the teams. It was like if a Junior Varsity team went and played in a Bantam B tourney or something. Duluth stayed in the game through the first period o...

duluth goalie

The duluth goalie is playing some great hockey. He did a great job keeping the 10 man duluth squad in the games. He had over 100 saves in 4 games in the duluth tournament and led the duluth team to second place.

duluth

yeah they did get outshot badly, but they played shorthanded all tournament with no more than two forward lines and two defensive lines. They have only been practicing for a couple weeks and are still a little out of shape. If they can add one more solid line they could be dangerous.

Duluth finished 2nd in the Spirit of Duluth... Beating some decent teams, tonka, eagan, and marquette. They fell to Green Bay 3-1 and stayed in the game the whole way through.

any coments...

duluth vs. grand rapids

Not to put down grand rapids, but the duluth team was playing quite short handed in there opener with few players and an inexperienced goalie. Since they have added a good goalie and added a few playmakers. They finished second place last weekend in the Spirit of Duluth defeating Minnetonka 4-1, Eag...
