Spin, not trying to incite an argument, but isn't there some sort of responsibility to be held by Andover here? And in all honesty, it seems to be a little unfair to any team playing them. As a coach I would dress a player and put her in nets for as many games as needed. If any recall, last year Mou...

Bantam or not has no bearing here. The fact that they are allowing Andover to switch goalies around and carry girls that are rostered on 2 different teams, both of which are playing in a tournament is where the issue lies. As I understand it Andover Bantam A's are playing in the championship game ne...

Re: Duluth Icebreakers 12A Championship game

I agree, and if you truly had only two and a half hours between ice times, then the tournament is in direct violation of Minnesota Hockey's rule regarding Payer Rest (See Below). To that, the 4 game format was great to see, as some, not all, but some are tired of 5 game weekends where the championsh...

Re: Centennial Girls SUPER CHILL 12/9-11 (1) 10A spot left!!

Unbelievable line up! Can't wait for this one, looking like great competition and at a great facility. Are you guys still having the announcers? They did a great job last year and it is good to see this expand to include 12's and 14's. Thanks for hosting.

Edina will be very good this year. I see them as a top contender. Very young last year and will be almost all second years this year. I am not sure of the Eden Prairie situation. Any insights from anyone?? Wayzate will be deep again. They have some talent and they were also young last year. I believ...

[quote="D6 Girls Fan"]I think you must be some kind of bit, Greenie. Is it harder to make the Varsity at a large school when you're an 8th or 9th grader? Damn right it is. So, those programs create very competetive U14 programs. Problem is, there are only 4 or 5 of them. Talent is like wat...

I was as cordial and positive as any man would be. My point was to say that maybe he should stop crying and bragging and focus in on reality. It was an over-the-top conversation. LUCKY- You may be nice to the man's face but as soon as you walk away, your thoughts and opinions among your friends woul...

THE VARSITY HYPE

Ok, so your bragging to me that your kid plays Varsity as a seventh or eighth grader! I say "what association are you from?" You say whatever you say I say "are you carrying a 14A or 12A squad in youth hockey?" You say "not enough kids" I say "huh" Stop braggi...

They're good. Not to sure about all the players ages but I know they have at least 1 or 2 98's most 97's and not sure if they have 96's. Their roster has been consistent on the majority of players but a few changes this year have certainly helped.

International Cup!!

Not much talk on the outcomes of the International Cup hosted by the Super Rink this past weekend in Blaine. Has it just become to much of the same ol' same ol'? Or did everyone know who the champs were before it even started. 10U Machine 01 wins 3-1 over Velocity 12U Tier I Ice Edge win 4-2 over ST...

WHAT HAPPENED TO EDINA?

Couldn't take it any longer. Had to say something! Edina has been a consistent and dominating force for a while, with strong teams coming up from 10's 12's and 14's for the last I don't know how long! What happened?? 14's falter at state, an obvious championship caliber team, 12's don't even get the...
