It appears Woodbury, Edina and elk river are the only ones with AA and A to make regions. I know Duluth east and hermantown have AA as well but they were guaranteed regions due to the amount of A teams up north. I personally think these next 15 kids will benefit greatly from playing at a higher lev...

East regions is very tough to predict. Could be mahtomedi, Edina, sibley or tartan. Two of these four will advance but it will be a toss up.

Second round games will be great to watch if no upsets in the first round.

Coon Rapids did for obvious reasons. We fair ok against A teams, but playing AA teams are almost pointless. The method in D10 is the usual throw it against the wall and see what sticks. There have been 7 games so far with AA teams beating A teams scoring 10 goals or more. 15-0 isn't a game, its a w...

\:D/ Hermantown has twice as many Bantam/Peewee teams.......... This pilot should be nuked. So CEC should have played A CEC's high school program is AA, so they didn't really have a choice They could have opted down but decided not to. Cottage Grove is one example of a team that waivered dow...

Woodbury lost 7...2 to each to Woodbury, East Ridge and Hill, 1 to SPA; an 8th went to Shattuck prior to last season. That said, they still have teams at AA, A and B1. Not sure your facts are straight on this. I believe they only lost one to East Ridge and one to Woodbury. The others to which you a...

OMG Crimson-4
Woodbury Black-3

What a great game played between these two teams. 2-0 (crimson) after 2, woodbury kept getting it within one in the 3rd and crimson would score to go back up 2. Both teams played very well. Tough game for either team to lose.

Did Mahtomedi play in a B2 tournament in Hudson? The Woodbury White team they beat 6-1 is one of Woodbury's three B2 teams. Woodbury only has two B1 teams in Woodbury Royal and Black.

Bantam B East will be quite the tournament. Any of the 8 teams could come out of this region, cannot say that for any other region at any level. Look forward to seeing scores and updates on this region.

If they made a bad chioce, just stand up and say it.
So we can't make any bad assumptions.
Perhaps they are not on this board?

Look at Woodbury. They are in the same boat, youth teams always in the rankings and several near the top. Woodbury's problem is the two high schools, STA, Hill-Murray and Cretin.

Burnsville Bantam B1 lost twice to Edina and twice in Woodbury Tourney. Woodbury black also lost twice in that tourney and still are ranked high. Ratings are fun, but yes, they do not mean much. The state tourney takes care of that. Burnsville also took 3rd while Woodbury Black took 2nd in the tour...
