Re: returning Bantam A goalies
Whoever said that some kid from ST. Francis is moving from squirts to Bantam A I don't think that kid is very smart. No kid, no matter how much they dominated squirts can move from squirt to bantams. It would be interesting to see how badly the kid does. Squirts to bantams is the equvilant of some H...

If everyone were as unhumble as 2aprincefan this site wouldn't work. No one wants to hear about how well the princeton bantam B team did. Quite frankly no one wants to hear about how well any team did at any level.

Re: Why not two A teams ?
What I really meant to say in my past post was that maybe some kids work harder and that is why they are better. Sure the association has more kids but the kids that make A are the ones that work hard. That's why bigger associations have better teams, there are more kids making for more opportunity ...

Re: Why not two A teams ?
I'll tell you why not to have two A teams. It is true that larger cities have a bigger population thus having more kids to play and making a better team possible, but the kids also work hard and deserve to be on one good A team instead of two medicore teams. Like mrslasher said, two A teams for Pewe...

Re: best team ever?
Highly doubt Ford as being the best Peewee A goalie ever. It's not that hard to look amazing with a team like his in front of him. He still makes nice saves but lets in weak ones occasinally.

Re: question - LPH ?
Perfectly said tender33, couple examples at the High School level: Holy Angles, Bloomington. As for your beloved Princeton, hckymom03, just because you beat a couple teams doesn't mean your number one in state, both games could have been a fluke.

Re: princeton
I must agree with glowstick, pretty much all the teams that are in state are the must cocky son of gun type I've ever seen. We have the two kids that can't say enough about each other from WAY, we have puckpasser from Sauke Center, then we have hckymom03.

Re: top 10 teams next year
When this years EP peewee A team second year players are second year bantams they will be good. They are already good. As for next year Bantam A they only have 3 returning players. They have a handful of Bs that will move up though. I don't think Edina will be all that impressive next. How many retu...

How did EP wiggle their way into state??? Personally I thought they wouldn't make it out of district playoffs. I am surprised. Did they come together and play really well as of late?

When Is Hockey TOO Much?
When does the hockey season become too long?? Most teams start their season toward early October and depending on how they do in the year may go to mid March. If I counted correctly that's 6 months of hockey. Some teams never have had a full weekend off of hockey or more then a 3 day break at one ti...

glowsitck- is it just by accident that 3 of the 4 bantam b1 edina goalies have CCM Gatekeepers? Or did you get a deal from someone for buying a large quantity?

I predict Beaton doesn't play for the rest of the year... Mark my words. I SEVERLY doubt that Beaton has played 20 games. Anyone close to the team have a number count on the games played??? Personally I love EP. I don't like how they are coached. Maybe I'm not close enough to the team to know how it...

EP
AMEN Hockeystud27! Finally someone agrees with me that Ep doesn't play all lines equally. For people who disagree: It's like saying that Gabby doesn't get more shifts then Boogaard in any given day. I'm not saying Ep has big, slow kids or that the Ep 1st line plays an incredilbe amount more but just...

Whoever thinks Ep will breeze through districts is not too bright. Ep barely beat Edina Green in districts in both their games. Both went to OT. Edina White almost beat them in the ship in Moorhead. Last year Ep hadn't beat Edina all year until Regions.
